The IG Lancer Combat Droid, also known as IG Lancer Droids, were battle droids created by the Phlut Design Systems (PDS), but were then seized by the CIS since the PDS failed to pay loans to the InterGalactic Banking Clan. Lancer Droids were black, with multiple red photoreceptors, on the head, and the torso, and the torso was heavily armored. The head and shoulder pads were spiked. They were tall and slim, measuring 1.96m (6ft 5in) tall, resembling their Muun creators.
They were deployed on swoop bikes, and attacked using a large energy lance replacing their right arm. They also were equipped with anti-vehicle explosives.
Led by Durge on swoop bikes during the Battle of Muunlist, IG Lancer Droids succeeded in overrunning the invading clone forces and destroying nearly all of the Republic Self-Propelled Heavy Artillery (SPHA)s.
