Also known as Snow Droids, Cold Weather Assault Battle Droids were designed based off the B2 Super Battle Droid (#2). They were designed to be used on planets and regions with cold arctic climates.
They carried heavy blaster rifles. They had large, wide feet which kept them stable on snow but slowed them significantly. They were a blank white to match with their snowy surroundings, with a black photoreceptor.
Cold Weather Assault Battle Droids encountered Saesee Tiin and Na-Jia, who was thought to be a Republic spy. They were destroyed by Saesee Tiin using a stolen CIS-Advanced Starfighter.
