Eradicate ?Jacob Black [The Final Chapter] (Discontinued)

"Kate!" Edward's voice broke through to her. Kate looked up at his through teary eyes, "Kate, they're coming for us. They'll kill us all."

Without saying a word to him Kate stood up and took a few deep breaths before following him out of the door. She didn't think she could speak let alone fight but she would be dammed if she didn't give it her all to protect Jacob. She knew he wouldn't run away from this. 

They walked into the living room with Alice and Jasper hot on their heels. Jasper put a comforting hand on her shoulder trying to use his powers to break through her sorrow but it didn't really work. There was a slight numbing to the pain but it was still there. She shot him a thankful look but otherwise made no mention of it.

"Stay with Bella," Edward snapped at Rosalie.

Rosalie, who had the baby the whole time, nodded and moved to walk to Bella's body. Seth had started to follow Rosalie out of the room. Kate didn't notice him up until this point but he couldn't take his eyes off of Rosalie's back. She watched him and tilted her head to the side. The way that he was looking, as if in pain, and the way he moved reminded her of something. She couldn't exactly remember though.

In a blink of an eye Edward ran across the room and broke Seth's arm before throwing him into the fireplace. Seth landed in a heap crying out in pain, holding his arm. This seemed to bring Kate out of her silence.

"Seth!" Kate screamed.

She ran to the boy and gently put her hands on his face. Seth's face scrunched up in pain and he didn't say anything back. She tried to reach for his arm to set it but Seth rolled away from her hands.

"Go," he groaned. 

Knowing that he would be alright in a little while, Kate nodded and stood up to follow Edward outside. Before she berate Edward he turned to her, "Can you shield the house?"

Kate opened and closed her mouth a few times not knowing if she could. Movement caught her vision and she saw Jacob standing there with dried tear tracks marking his face. He gave her a determined look that told her he was going to fight.

She nodded slowly, "I can try."

Edward turned to face the trees searching for any sign of the wolves. Jacob walked over to her and placed a hand on her shoulder. Taking comfort in the fact that Jacob what there, breathing, and beside her, she turned to the house and closed her eyes reaching inside of her for any sense of her powers.

She was weak, she knew this. Whatever explosion had happened to her earlier drained her of strength. She struggled and she felt like she might pass out but she planted her feet and focused on the warmth she felt from Jacob's hand. She might have just lost her sister, but she hand't lost everything. She still had Jacob, and her parents. And despite what was about to happen, she knew she still had the pack. At least in her mind, she still loved them.

Blue jets of light shot out from Kate's hands and what looked like to be a blue force field started to from up from the ground around the house. Kate winced at the pain in her head but she kept it going. Slowly, the blue energy rose up and surrounded the house until it was impregnable on any side. 

Once the shield was up, Kate felt weak and stumbled into Jacob's arms.

"You have to get inside," he told her quickly. He sounded afraid for her.

A growl echoed through the trees. Causing everyone outside to turn before them they saw the might of the Uley pack. They had gown which meant that the Cullen's were painfully outnumbered. They would die tonight, there was no doubt about it.

 "Too late," she muttered pushing off of Jacob to stand upright.

"We're outnumbered," Jasper pointed out.
