Eradicate ?Jacob Black [The Final Chapter] (Discontinued)

"Kate, wait! Hang on a second," Jacob called after her.

Jacob jumped the last few steps to the forrest floor where Kate was preparing to leave to go get her car. He came right up to her with a tormented, apologetic look on his face.

"Listen, I'm sorry! I wasn't thinking. I was scared that Seth would leave, that you'd leave to go with Bella, which meant that I'd have to leave because dammit I can't be apart from you..."

He was cut off by Kate hugging him tightly. Without thinking about it and without a seconds hesitation, he crushed her into his chest feeling whole once again. While she had been furious with him when it was happening, it was a relief that Charlie knew at least something. There was to be less lying, though admittedly more danger.

Kate buried her face into his chest, "I'm sorry that I overreacted. Forgive me?"

Jacob bent down and kissed the top of her head, "Always. I love you."

"I love you too."

Weeks passed quickly after that. Though, with the passage of time, grew a knew concern, quite literally. Renesmee was growing quickly, too quickly. She now looked about six years old and she was only a few months old. Renesmee was growing into a beautiful child that made Kate envious of her looks. Though Jacob had nearly laughed himself to death when she told him, telling her she was insane for being jealous of a baby.

She spoke as if she was that age as well. Her advancements were growing so fast that it alarmed everyone, especially her Grandpa Charlie. No one was more concerned than Bella, Edward, or Seth. Jacob spent most days with Leah calming Seth down. But while Jacob was surprisingly calm about it, Leah punched him for getting weepy eyed and told him to be strong. Since then, he decided to soak up every moment he had with Renesmee not matter what the future held.

That is how Renesmee, Seth, Kate, and Bella found themselves playing in one of the first snows of the year. Seth was in wolf form, rolling around in the dirt making Renesmee smile while Bella and Kate chatted about their mother who had sent them another invitation to visit. She wanted her girls to get away from the cold. None of them had the heart to tell Renee anything they had told Charlie. Charlie had kept his promise to not tell anyone anything and he too kept Renee in the dark.

"Mommy, Auntie Kate, look! It's a snowflake!" Renesmee ran up to show the two girls.

Bella knelt down, "It's beautiful. Why don't you go get another one?"

Renesmee ran off happily to get another with Seth hot on her heels. Bella leaned closer to Kate, "Edward thinks we'll find answers in Brazil. There are tribes there that might know something."

Kate nodded. She knew that for months now, the Cullens had been trying to figure out anything they could on Renesmee's growth rate and how long she would live. Everyone was concerned that time may be running short. Even Sam and the Quileute leaders were looking for answers. None of them could stand to see Sam if the imprint bond broke.

Renesmee jumped up, near fifty feet and caught a snowflake. Seth barked at Kate who rolled her eyes but nonetheless complied with what he wanted. Her hands were encircled with their familiar blue energy and soon, a giant brown wolf was floating through the air next to Renesmee who was laughing and Seth bit at falling snowflakes.

Suddenly, Renesmee's head snapped up and looked up at the nearby cliff. When she came down, she called out to her mother and aunt. The two girls stood next to Renesmee and Seth who was now standing and growling protectively in front of the little girl. Bella took a few steps forward and stared where her daughter was looking.
