Devin and Melanie arrived back in Paradise Valley and were practically glowing with joy. Post engagement, they were very excited.
They were in the backseat of the car that was taking them home. Devin was holding her hand that showcased her engagement ring. He still couldn't believe that she said yes. Though she said she would, no matter what, he still couldn't wrap his head around it.
Melanie smiles at him. "You okay?" she asks.
Devin nods. "Just thinking," he replies.
Melanie looked curious. "About what?"
Devin shrugs. "Just how crazy how life is." He plays with her ring. "Before I met you, I never saw myself settling down. And now that it's actually happening, I can't wait for what's to come."
Melanie smiles. "Me neither."
Devin smiles at her. "I love you, Lani"
Melanie smiles at him. "I love you, too, Armani." They meet for a passionate kiss.
All it takes is one person. You don't expect it. I didn't expect him to come in and change my life forever. But I wouldn't have it any other way. He was my person. Now and forever.
