~The Next Day~
It was currently 7:00 AM, and Devin and Melanie were currently getting ready to head to the airport. Well, Devin was already finished getting ready. Melanie was kind of struggling since she had almost no feeling in her lower body. They definitely needed last night. They don't know if it was because whether they haven't done it in a while or it would be their only time doing it before going to her parents.
Melanie winces in pain once she gets her yoga pants on as Devin walks into her closet. He gives her a small smile. "You okay, mama?" he asks her.
She gives him a dirty look. "I am in so much pain because of you right now," she says as he starts laughing at her.
He walks up to her. "I'm sorry, mamas." He wraps his arms around her waist. "I did take it a little too far, last night."
She raises her eyebrow. "A little?"
He nods as he thinks about it. "Okay, maybe way too far."
She giggles at him as she puts her hands on his elbows. "It's okay. Plus, it's not like I didn't enjoy it."
He smirks at her. "So, you're saying, we should throw in something quick before we leave."
She gives him a look. "No. And even if we did, you know damn well we won't be quick." He laughs at her words. "We have to leave in less than 15 minutes."
He pouts a little bit. "Fine. You ready to go?" She nods, and they go grab their bags. They then head down the stairs. Devin was holding their suitcases as Melanie was holding their carry-on bags. "Okay, I think we got everything," Devin says.
Melanie nods as she looks through her purse. "I think so," she says. "Did you call Davon to pick up Bruno?"
Devin nods at her. "Yes, he's on his way right now."
Then, the door busts open, and Schneider walks in. "Range Rover's outside," he announces.
Melanie gives him a look. "Will you ever knock before coming in?" she asks.
Schneider smiles like an idiot. "Probably not," he replies.
Devin has a weird look on his face. "Anyway," he says before looking back at Mel. "I told Davon where the spare key was and to make sure the doors are locked when he leaves."
Melanie nods at him. "Okay, sounds good," she says. She goes to give Bruno goodbye kisses. "Be good to Uncle Davon, baby." Devin does the same.
Schneider gives them a confused look. "Why didn't you ask me to watch Bruno?" he asks.
Devin furrows his eyebrows together. "Isn't Avery allergic to dogs?" he asks.
Melanie looks confused as well. "And any animal that has fur?"
Schneider ignores their comments as he starts reaching for their bags. "We should probably get you guys to the airport."
The other two chuckle at him. Schneider opens the door for them, and Devin follows Melanie out to the car. They get all the bags in the car and each get in, Devin and Schneider in the front and Melanie in the back. Once everyone was settled, they were off.
They arrive at the airport about 20 minutes later. Devin and Melanie step out of the car with face masks on cuz COVID was making a comeback. They were flying private, but they still had to take precautions. They grab their bags from the trunk, say their final goodbyes to Schneider, and get on the plane after getting their bags squared away.
The plane ends up taking off a few minutes later. Devin and Melanie end up sitting by the window with their seats facing each other. They had taken their shoes off, and Devin put his feet on her seat so that she's sitting in between his legs. Melanie ends up taking a Boomerang of Devin and posts it to her Instagram story with the caption, 'Off to Miami🏖'.
