Always a Memory

"Princess are you in here?" I hear Lola ask.

It's just Lola..

I calm myself down.

"Where did Ethan go?" I ask her.

"He had something really important to do." She says.

He must be up to no good

I show her the letters.

"He has been hiding these. Making me think Alistair forgot me." I say with a sad tone.

"My lady..he says he never got any of your letters." She says.

What?!

I check them again.

"B-But I wrote them...are my letters getting taken away over there? Who is not letting Alistair read them?!" I get upset.

Lola sees the other letters and she gasps.

"H-He has been colluding with our enemy..." she whispers.

What?!

I read it.

"I convinced my father to send you the crown prince as promised. You already know what to do. I will inform you of any plan in the military force if needed. Make sure he never receives any of the letters from his wife."

It's all him!

"Alistair probably thinks I don't love him..!! He probably thinks that I forgot him!" I yell out.

"My lady we have to go now..." Lola informs me and I nod.

We are about to go but I notice a really shiny box right under the closet doors.

I open it to see a very big beautiful necklace.

It's so shiny..

I notice the symbol on the emerald stone and my head starts to hurt.

Why does this necklace seem so familiar??

"My lady. Are you okay?" She asks.

I nod and put the necklace back.

"That necklace feels so familiar to me." My head starts to hurt.

I suddenly get vivid images of a woman holding the necklace towards her.

Who is that??

"Ahh! My head!" I yell out.

"My lady! We have to go! I hear them!" She quickly puts everything back and we sneak out the back window.

"Don't worry my lady I switched the guards. No one knows we came in here." She whispers and we escape back to my room.

I tear up.

"He made Alistair go to the enemy!" I cry even more.

"Alistair is alright my lady. He is too smart to get himself killed." She says.

I try to calm myself down.

" what was the necklace you were talking about my lady?" She asks.

"It had a weird symbol and I got these vivid images in my head making it hurt." I tell her.

"What did you see?" She asks.

"A woman holding the necklace towards her..but her face was very blurry." I say to her.

"Could it have been someone you know?" She asks.

"I dont know...I don't remember what they look like." I confess.

"I never had the necklace when I was found.." I say.

"Lana told me something before she died." I take a deep breath:

"Ethan killed my family.." She gasps.

"I didn't find any letters regarding that. Should we go back?" Lola asks.

Before I can even answer I hear a man's voice from behind us.

"Go back where?" I hear a familiar voice say.
