Always a Memory

                                 Ethan's pov
I feel bad for knocking her out, but I wouldn't stand to lose her.

I send her to my room.

"lock her there until she can come to her senses." I demand.

"You can't force her son.." my father shakes my head.

I'll keep trying.

I bow and leave to find her servant.

"What does she like?" I ask.

"Fruits your majesty.." she says with a scared tone.

"Bring me the fruits she likes." I demand and go to see the princess.

Seeing her unconscious with tears running down her face makes me angry.

Why my brother!? What good is he..?!

I get upset and throw things around.

"Didn't you say he was not better than me? Then why still choose him?!" I say out loud.

Her servant comes in with the fruits and leaves.

"Amelia. My princess..wake up." I say nicely and sit her up, leaning on me.

She slowly opens her eyes.

"W-What happened..." She doesn't look up at me.

"Y-You fainted." I lie.

I see tears fall down her cheeks.

"Here. Some fruits." I try to distract her.

She weakly grabs the apple and starts eating.

At least she's eating.

"Get some rest." I lay her down and put the fruits right next to her.

"Where are you going...?" she asks.

"I have some important things to do." I kiss her hand and leave.

Making sure her husband is dead for good...

I go to my room and write a letter to one of my men over there.

"Find him and kill him. Make sure he is dead and send him over. I want his wife to see his dead body."

I write it down and send it.

I'll marry you soon. I will have you and the thrown...I want to leave him with nothing..

Maya's pov
I throw up non stop.

"Get the doctor." I tell one of the servants.

Few minutes come by and he finally comes in.

He checks my pulse.

"My lady..you are around 2 months pregnant." He admits.

I gasp.

"How is my baby?!" I ask impatiently.

"You have to take care of your body. Luckily I got here on time to help you because if not...you would have lost it...." he admits.

I can't lose my baby too...it's all I have left of Alistair....

He hands me a few medicines to take for the baby and I dismiss him.

"What will you do my lady?" Lola asks concerned.

"If they find out about my pregnancy now, they will immediately make me marry Ethan so the baby can have a father." I sigh.

"Keep this a secret Lola. I beg you." I plead and she nods.

"Don't worry princess." she reassures me.
