Queen's pov
That brat is going to ruin everything!

I throw the bowls of food on the floor.

"My Queen! please calm down!" one of the maids grab my arm.

I slap her hard.

"Don't you touch me." I warn her and she nods.

"Get my son in here now." I demand.

"Yes mother?" I hear my son say from outside.

"Watch that girl for me. She is sneaky." I say.

"I will." He grins.

I have to get rid of her...now

He leaves and I call some of my men.

"When you can..get rid of Amelia and that stupid maid." I give them money.

I suddenly notice a shadow next to the door.

"Who's there?!" I yell out and the shadow disappears.

"Get that person!" I yell and they run off.

I will be found out of that person escapes!

King's pov
"She means well." I explain to my most trusted servant.

"She seems so familiar My lord. Please be careful." He says concerned.

I nod.

"My lord..I need to talk to you." Amelia comes up to me.

Before she can even speak, the queen comes rushing in.

"There are assassins!" she yells out.

What?!?

I call out my soldiers and send them to capture them.

When I turn to talk to Amelia, she disappears.

                       Maya's pov
I run back to my room.

"My lady! I heard the conversation with the queen! She sent people to kill you and that maid!" She says with a frightened tone.

She is getting desperate

All of a sudden Ethan comes in.

"How are you feeling princess." He holds my hand.

If I stay with him..they won't be able to touch me.

I bow.

"My lord.." I look up at him and smile.

"are you okay? I heard there are assassins. It's not safe alone." He grabs me and drags me to his room.

"Lola. Bring your 'Friend' over." I demand.

She nods.

"Wait please..." I say sweetly and I lean on him.

He carries me the rest of the way.

Lola finally comes in with the maid.

"Rest here. I will send more guards here to protect you." He kisses my hand and leaves.

"P-Princess...why did you take me here.." the maid asks.

"I know what you did." I blatantly tell her.

She starts to shake.

"I don't know what the princess is trying to say.." she hesitates.

"I will make sure you don't get into trouble, but you have to cooperate with me." I say calmly.

She doesn't say anything.

"Did she threaten you with your family?" I ask.

She quickly bursts into tears.

"She threatened with selling my younger sisters to the brothel!" She cries even more.

"I'll forgive you for this if you do as I say." I tell her.

She is just a maid..poor girl.

"Anything...please!" she begs.

"I'll have someone escort your family to a hideout until we are finished here. What I want you to do is that same poison you used, I want you to find it and bring it to me. Also grab a fake one for me." I tell her and she quickly nods.

"Remember I have your family now. I am doing this for your own good. You choose if you want to disobey me or listen to me." I warn and she bows.

"I trust you. I won't disobey you my queen!" She says in tears.

I give her a big hug.

"I won't let them take your sisters away. I'll protect them." I say and she smiles.

"Thank you. I will listen." She bows again and leaves.

After a while she comes in with the same white packet she used to poison the soup and the fake one.

perfect.

"I want you to now go to the queen and tell her how you overheard me say I will poison the emperor at the banquet in 2 days." She nods and leaves.

I send my men to find her family and hide them.

"What do you plan to do at the banquet princess?" Lola asks worried.

"The fake one is full of nutrients. I'll put it in his drink right in front of them. That is the only way I can fully expose her." I explain.

"It will be enough to make the King actually see her true intentions." I giggle.
