After that, the rest of the day was pretty slow. They spent the majority just sitting around in the lab, just talking.
"So, Spencer, thought any more on your feelings for Barry?" Cisco asked, completely off topic from the conversation Spencer and Caitlin were currently in the middle of.
"Cisco what does that have to do with last night's episode of Supernatural?" Caitlin shot back, trying to help out her annoyed, blonde friend.
Cisco just shrugged. "Nothing. I just want to be kept in the loop about this thing."
"Dude, there is nothing in the loop that is worth knowing. I told you, I don't know how I feel right now. Nothing has changed." Spencer said.
"That's bull. You guys practically just made a date to play Jenga again."
Spencer groaned. "That was not a date!"
"Please. With those flirty smiles and banter you were making earlier?"
"Cisco, I have no idea what you're talking about."
"He's kind of got a point Spencer." Caitlin spoke up again. "I noticed it too."
Spencer glared at the two of them, "When did you two become such fangirls?"
"Don't be mad at me," Cisco defended, "I just want you to be happy and I think you'd be good together."
"Who'd be good together?" Came another voice.
The three of them turned their heads to the entrance of the Cortex where Barry stood next to another blonde girl who they recognized as Felicity Smoak from when she visited Barry in the coma. Noticing it was indeed Barry who had asked that question, Spencer quickly looked away, a slight blush heating up her cheeks. Cisco snorted, earning another glare from Spencer. Caitlin however just tried to act casual, although she was fighting a grin.
"Oh, um, just Spencer and some guy she met at Jitters earlier." Caitlin thought of on the spot. She noticed the slightly annoyed look Barry got on his face after hearing her reply. She'd have to talk to Cisco about it later.
Barry just nodded slightly, remembering Felicity who stood beside him. "Um, guys this is Felicity Smoak."
Feeling free of embarrassment now, Spencer stood up and made her way over to the pair. "Yeah, I remember her."
"Hey, Spencer, Caitlin, Cisco. It's nice to see you all again." Felicity smiled.
Barry looked between them all, confused. "Wait, how-"
"She visited you while you were in a coma." Spencer explained.
Barry just nodded again. "I was going to show Felicity around the lab if that's okay?"
Caitlin just nodded from where she stood behind Spencer. Once Barry and Felicity were out of earshot, Cisco began laughing.
"What is so funny?" Spencer questioned.
"I'm sorry, I've been holding that in since Barry walked in the room. Was it just me or did Barry look upset at the thought of us talking about Spencer and some guy?"
"You saw that too?" Caitlin asked.
Spencer rolled her eyes. "I swear you guys are the worst. I'm pretty sure I'm going to get over whatever I'm feeling for Barry before you two do."
After about ten minutes, Barry and Felicity walked back into the Cortex.
"And this is where my team monitors the police bands for criminal activity." Barry told her. "We can track anything that's happening in the city, check this out. We've got our own satellite."
