Barry continued standing in the middle of the street, breathing heavily and confused. He didn't really travel back in time, did he? He couldn't have. He was torn out of his thoughts by Cisco's voice through the comms. He began asking Barry if he was alright and why he had stopped so suddenly. Barry shook it off and told him he had gotten a little disoriented. That's when Cisco told him he should hurry up and head to the morgue- which was exactly what he had done yesterday.

When he arrived at the scene of the crime, everything had appeared as it was before. Body in the same place with the same facial injuries. Joe came up to him and asked him the same questions as before, and he was able to answer them and ones he hadn't asked with his previous knowledge of the case. He even mentioned the tape recording of Mardon's voice moments before Eddie brought it over to them. The recording caught the same thing; Mardon threatening the coroner for more information and Barry informed Joe and Eddie before the detective could say it himself that he was out for revenge. It was becoming more and more like Groundhog Day by the minute.

Once he finished up talking to Eddie and Joe, ready to excuse himself as he knew where this case was going to lead anyway, he headed home to sleep off the anxiety of the situation. It didn't do him any good. So, the next morning, he woke early and headed for STAR Labs to reinform, or inform for the first time, them about the case. He was so distracted by what he was going through at the moment, he hadn't stopped to think about the positive effects of his apparent time jump, but he was quickly reminded of them when he stepped through the elevator at STAR Labs. When he did, he caught the backs of Cisco, Caitlin and-his breath hitched- Spencer's heads.

He paused, taking in the calm moment between three friends before the blonde herself glanced over her shoulder, sensing his presence. Her eyes brightened slightly and a smile grew on her face, her lips tinted a deeper red due to the slushies the three of them were sipping out of. Flashes of the last few days, days that no longer had happened, went through his mind. He remembered the kiss they shared, and the tragedy that had happened afterwards. And now, here she was, standing in front of him, well and as beautiful as ever, and he did the only thing he could think to do in the moment- not necessarily exactly what he wanted to do though. He ran up and crushed her into a giant hug.

Spencer yelped at the sudden embrace and braced herself as Barry spun her around once as well. When he sat her down, she looked at him quizzically. "What was that for?"

He smiled sheepishly, noticing Cisco and Caitlin's confused but still smirking expressions from the corner of his eye. "Nothing. Just happy to see you."

The corner of her lip quirked up in a half smile, though she was still confused. "Well, thank you. I'm happy to see you, too."

"Are you happy to see me?" Cisco asked jokingly as he chewed on the end of his straw.

Barry chuckled nervously, reminding himself no one knew about the events he had experienced. "Of course. I am always happy to see you Cisco."
