Dear Alex,

 I want to do gymnastics in 7th grade but my mom doesn't seem too convinced. I really want to do it because it will one not just help me in my health but it will also be good for me to do a sport and not sit on my butt on my iPod all day. How do u think I could convince her? Please help.

So I asked my friend what she thought of it and she told me to tell them that they won't have to see you as much xD lol I would keep that option for last tho :P

Well, you have to gather up all the facts to convince her that you can do it. Tell her what you told me and make like a deal with her.. like lets say if you let me do gymnastics.. I'll do something for you the whole time I do it or something about school and your grades. You got to give a little to get what you want. If she still isn't convinced then don't get too upset. Tell her to think about it and then tell you when shes made a decision.
