Hey! So I'm in desperate need of some advice. So there's this guy, Owen, and we used to go out but we broke up when I moved away. I moved back a couple months ago, and all of my feelings for him have come crashing back, and I thought he felt the same way. That was until I heard he's going out with this girl who is well basically my worst enemy. It felt like my heart litterally broke when I found out. Then my sister set me up on a date with her friends brother,and I like him, but well it's just he's not Owen. And even though Owen's moved on and I know I have the right to too, I just still can't get him out of my mind,and out of my heart... Please help me!

Well I know there are plenty of people in your situation where they just can't get over their ex. I try to give them advice but it just comes in one ear and out the other. I'm hoping that this time it won't be that way... Firstly you need to not think about him. Now your probably asking "How do I do that?" Don't look at him, don't talk to him, don't look at his pictures, don't think about the memories, etc etc Don't think about him. I say this because when you think about that person or you look at them you'll mostly think about all the things that you had and wish you still had. Which isn't good for you. Second thing you should do is go out. You have a date with your friends brother? Then go on the date with a OPEN MIND. Its not fair to the other if your still strung up on someone else. So start seeing new people and have fun, be crazy, make memories. Just don't be stuck on one guy that has moved on. I know it's difficult these two things but it isn't impossible. The way your feeling right now is just the hangover, you still feel the after effect. Drink some water and a asprin and your good to go. (not literally but it's a metaphor if you get it.) And you'll end up falling for another guy. You got this!
