Dear Alex,

I dated this guy but we were both really shy and we were always told on how cute of a couple we were and he would always blush when he heard that! But in school he made it seem like he was imbaressed to be seen with or even talking to me! Although we said we were dating... I thought we were in the friend zone. So over the summer, I broke up with him. But after seeing his face, idk... I got butterflies and really nerves. I think the number one reason I broke up with him is because I think I'm in love with him. And it wasent till now I realized something. Is he the one I let get away? I know this sounds stupid, and I'm sure you answered this thousands of times already, but did I make a mistake? Should I try to fix this? He was so confusing! We dated for like... Five months and not once did we kiss... I would of loved it if he was my first kiss... I'm madly in love with my ex.... I made a mistake of letting him go and I just can't move on.... We always make eye contact and I get butterflies, but that's driving me so crazy, I started to avoid him today. What should I do? Fix what I messed up?

Yes darling. I think you should fix it if you are madly in love with him c: the reason why he probably hadn't had kissed you was because he was too scared or shy to... And you should tell him what you have told me so then you can get some clarity on it. Make him be honest with you... And see how it plays out.
