Ask Alex ~A wattpad Advice Column~

Dear Alex,

Wey, hey! I'm back for more advice from you since I have no one to ask advice from. :)

Remember this boy who I've liked for almost a year now and I know I've told you him about him the first time I asked for advice. Well, I still am confusing myself and haven't asked him if he likes me back.

But that's not the problem.

I still like him, yeah I obviously still do, but I'm trying to stop my feelings for him since a friend of mine who happens to be his ex still has feelings for him.

She lives on the other half of the world right now, but we talk to her everyday and through her tweets, it looks like she's determined to have him back.

I feel like a bad friend right now since she doesn't see him every single day and I do. She doesn't talk to him, I don't as well, but he says hi whenever we bump into each other.

What should I do? I seriously feel like a bad friend right now. I want to tell her, but I don't want a boy getting in the way of our friendship :(

Dear Confused and Crazy Chic, 

You know why exs are exs for a reason right? But honestly at this point it doesn't even matter if you both like him. It's up to him to tell you if he likes you or his ex or not. If you really want to know how he feels I would talk to him.. you know just a normal conversation and then get into like asking if he still talks to your friend and then ask how he still feels about her. Then you will know what he sees about her. Then if your brave enough you can go ahead and ask what he sees of you. This will get you out of rut and then you won't be so confused anymore. 

If you do so happen to ask him what he sees of you. And he happens to like you, then you should go ahead and tell your friend that you like him...and he likes you back. If she was a real friend then she would understand. Plus again, they aren't together after all. Yeah girl code, never date a friends ex. But today is so modern and it depends on the persons views. If you wanna see how your friend would feel then you could just ask like "what are you views on dating a friends ex?" Then you will know how she feels. 

Whatever you do. You'll get answers. And isn't that what you need here? :)
