Cisco carefully pulled Barry out from under the wreckage. Barry let out a groan and a pained "ow" and Spencer sighed in relief.

"Get him out of there!" Caitlin encouraged and Cisco nodded, doing as he was told.

As soon as Barry was completely out, Spencer leaned down to hug him as best as she could without hurting him. Barry let out a long held breath, welcoming the comfort of her embrace. Spencer let Caitlin drive her car back to STAR Labs so she could sit in the back with Barry. She watched to make sure he didn't fall unconscious and gave him a small smile every time he made eye contact with her. It always warmed her heart when he returned the gesture.

When they arrived back at STAR Labs, Cisco helped Spencer lead Barry to the med bay where they examined his injuries for the umpteenth time that week.

"What were you thinking? What were you thinking?" Dr. Wells' voice echoed through the lab when they found out what had gone down. "I told you that we would figure out a way to deal with him."

"I'll heal," Barry sighed, rubbing his head.

"You can't heel when you're dead." Wells retorted, making Spencer flinch from her spot beside Barry. "He could have killed you."

Barry stood up from the chair he was seated in and marched past Dr. Wells to the center of the Cortex. "I know, all right? I know! In the past 36 hours I've had my ass handed to me twice by the guy who tortured me as a kid. I couldn't stop him then and I can't stop him now! Even with my powers I'm still powerless against him."

"Not necessarily. Cisco." Dr. Wells looked to Cisco who made his way back to the monitors. "Any material, if struck at a high enough velocity can be compromised."

"We ran an analysis on the metal in Tony's footprint. Based on its density and atomic structure, if you impact it at just the right angle, at just the right speed, you could do some serious damage." Cisco told him.

Spencer and Caitlin exchanged nervous glances.

"How fast would I have to go?" Barry asked.

"Factoring in the metal's tensile strength, estimated dermal thickness, atmospheric pressure, air temp, you'd have to hit him at approximately Mach 1.1." Cisco replied.

Barry scoffed, shaking his head.

"You want Barry to hit something at 800 miles an hour?"

"837, actually" Cisco corrected.

"That's faster than the speed of sound." Caitlin added in disbelief.

"I know. He would create a sonic boom, which, as I've said before, would be awesome."

"I've never gone that fast." Barry said

"Yet." Dr. Wells added.

"I can't believe we're actually entertaining this idea." Caitlin exclaimed. "I mean, he'd need a straight shot from miles away."

"Yeah, 5.3 miles, theoretically." Cisco but in.

"I think he can do it." Spencer finally spoke up and all heads turned to her.

"Are you insane?" Caitlin questioned.

Spencer sighed, "Sure it's crazy."

"And dangerous." Caitlin interjected.

"I know that and it's scary as hell, but he has run up buildings, on water and I don't see any reason to believe that he can't do this."

"How can you be so sure?" Caitlin asked again.
