"Did everyone know it was your birthday but me?" He asked, slightly upset with himself for not inquiring about the date of her birth sooner. He'd have to come up with something soon. It was literally tomorrow.
From the envelope, Spencer pulled out a card with two dogs on the front that simply read 'Happy Birthday'. Inside had a small message that said 'I hope you're day is dog-gone awesome'. She chuckled at that, but laughed even harder when she noticed the Olive Garden gift card attached to side. "Aw, you remembered my favorite."
"How could I not?" he chuckled, rubbing his stomach. "Every time you brought it for lunch, you brought some for me and Eddie. The only benefit of you leaving is my weight."
Spencer giggled, pulling him in for a hug which he happily returned. "Thanks Joe."
Barry watched the exchange with a warm smile. He couldn't explain why, but seeing his foster-father and...really awesome, super pretty and sweet friend get along so well made him really happy.
"You're welcome, Spencer." Joe replied, smiling as they ended their hug.
"Well, I've got to be heading back to STAR Labs. I'll see you guys later?"
Barry nodded. She smiled, gathering her things and began walking toward the exit, throwing back a small wave on her way out.
She made it back to STAR Labs in under ten minutes. She headed down the hallways, hearing the familiar voices of Caitlin and Felicity as she neared the Cortex.
"It is so nice to have another woman to talk to." She overheard Caitlin say as she walked up behind her.
"Wow, Cait, I'm hurt." Spence stated, making her presence known.
Caitlin threw her a sheepish smile. "I didn't mean to disclude you, but let's face it, the two of us are outnumbered here."
Spencer sighed with a nod. "That is true. Petition to keep Felicity forever!" She exclaimed, pumping her fist in the air, earning a laugh from both women.
Caitlin turned back to Felicity. "Back to what I was saying, I was thinking that if Bivolo uses color to induce the temporary psychosis, maybe we can use light and color to reverse it."
"I like the way you think, Snow." Spencer commented, catching onto what the other two were talking about.
Felicity didn't get a chance to voice her own opinion because Dr. Wells wheeled by the Cortex, asking to speak to her in private.
Caitlin and Spencer shared confused looks as the blonde walked away.
"What's up with Dr. Wells calling secret meeting with everyone lately?" Spencer inquired and Caitlin just shrugged.
The two of them went to work to test Caitlin's theory and not long into it Cisco joined them. A few minutes later, just as Felicity neared the Cortex again, this time with Barry, an alert sounded from the monitors.
"Hey, we just got a ping from the facial recognition software on Bivolo, aka, Prism." Cisco told them.
Caitlin and Spencer spun around in their seats at this new piece of information. "Since when do we have facial recognition software?" Caitlin questioned.
"Happy Hanukkah." Felicity sing-songed as she and Barry entered the lab.
"Where can I find him?" Barry asked, walking up behind Cisco.
"Traffic cameras just caught him entering a residence at 168 Jarvis." Cisco stated.
"We should let The Arrow know." Felicity suggested. Spencer smirked to herself, still giddy over knowing the Arrow's true identity- and before her friends did. Ten points for Hufflepuff.
