04: Fight!

This. Aaron thought. This is going to be fun.

"Finally, someone who I can actually try to fight." He said. Aaron loosened his grip after Gene's statement. Gene pushed Aaron off of him and made him fall to the floor.

Aaron saw a girl run in front of him.

"S-stop!" She yelled to Gene.

"Oh no! I'm so scared!" Gene teased.

"How did he know that I was afraid of potatoes?" He said with the sarcasm in his voice clearly visible.

"Hey! I-I'm not a p-potato!"

"The potato can talk? Wow! I'm amazed at what scientists can achieve nowadays."

"You asked for it, punk." She said.

The crowd, still laughing at Gene's snarky remarks, fell into a silence when they saw him fall into the lockers by her kick.

"Aaron, let's go." She said, sticking her hand out.

Aaron took it.

Potato. Aaron thought. That can only mean one thing.

The girl turned around. "A-Aphmau?" Aaron said, stunned.

"Yeah?"

"That was you who fought Gene?"

"Does it matter?"

"Was it you?" Aaron said.

"Yeah, why?"

"How did you...?"

"Why did you start that fight?" She asked.

"I-I didn't...it was-"

"If Gene started it, then why did you go along with it?"

"I don't know...it was very stupid of me." He said.

"I'm sorry too." Aph sighed.

"Why are you sorry? What did you do wrong?" Aaron asked.

"Never mind. I'm so hungry, I can't think straight. Let's get some food!" Aph said, clearly attempting to change the mood.
