30 ; Epilogue

(many years later)

APHMAU FIDDLED WITH her thumbs nervously as she awaited for the presence of Katelyn. In a flurry of baby blue, she appeared, a look of exhaustion and tiredness plastered on her face.

"Where have you been?!" Aphmau exclaimed, her hands waving out of sheer worry and slightly anger.

"Long...story," Katelyn huffed, her torso hunching over with her hands placed sloppily against her hips. "I don't wanna talk about it."

Aphmau raised an eyebrow, but decided to leave the topic alone for the moment. "Alright, now, how 'bout you help a damsel in distress?"

"You know, Aph," Katelyn began, sight pants in between her words. "Getting in a wedding dress is quite easy."

The shorter girl turned to the mirror in front of her, lifting up the light purple dress to her chest, allowing to see her reflection and get a hint of what she would look like in less than five minutes. She did try it on when she went shopping for wedding dresses.

"Do you think Aaron will like it?" Aphmau pondered, glancing over her shoulder to peer at Katelyn.

"Puh-lease," she waved her hand in front of her. "It's totally your style. Anything that's your style, he'll love."

Aph smiled and adjusted her stance slightly. "Alright then," she smiled as she turned her cheek away from the mirror. "Let's get ready for a wedding."

"Your wedding." Katelyn corrected and gesture Aphmau to sit over to the chair that was placed neatly in front of another mirror with little lights surrounding the border of it.

"My wedding." Aph smirked, still shocked that she was preparing herself for a...her wedding. It was times like these she was happy to have Katelyn as her best friend. She was the perfect person to come to for basically anything.

The door busted open and revealed Kawaii-Chan, carrying two dresses; one a light pink and the other a light blue. "I'm here!" she panted, her words slurring together, sweat shining her face unattractively.

   "There you are!" Katelyn hissed, acting like a mother who was mad at her child. "I thought you would never show up. This is Aphmau's wedding, it needs to be perfect."

    Aph smiled, her heart fluttering at the thought of marrying her high school lover. Through all these years, never once had she thought about another way her life could have been. Her heart always belonged to Aaron, never once having any regrets.

    THE MUSIC FILLED THE COUPLE'S EARS, Aaron watching as his beautiful bride came slowly walking down the aisle. He smiled, his heart nearly leaping out of his chest when Aph's eyes met his.

    The priest began to say his speech, Aaron losing attention on his words, and focusing on the woman in front of her. He smirked at her, mouthing a quick I love you. And the words, "You may now kiss the bride." were trapped in his ears as he grabbed Aphmau's hand, placing his other one on her cheek, their lips meeting.

    They pulled away, their gazes both star struck, and dazed as the two realised their actions. I'm married to Aaron

    I'm married to Aph.

    And the two wouldn't have it any other way.

    The End.

wow, you guys. this is officially over. i can't believe it. i've been writing this story for over one year and i can't believe it's done. i remember writing this as a small little short story that i didn't even plan to post on wattpad. five chapters later, i decided 'why not post it here?' and look at it now. i've written thirty chapters on a story that was only supposed to have five.

not that i'm complaining, i wouldn't have it any other way. thank you all so much for your support and comments, i love you all. if you ever need to talk, feel free to chat.
