"Okay, so I retrofitted the cooling system with the wheelchair's power source to create an energy damper," Cisco informed them, walking around the truck with Joe.
"Which means what, exactly?" Joe questioned.
"Basically, the back of this rig is being flooded with so much power that it's effectively creating a transient pulse strong enough to disrupt the meta-humans' powers, so we can get them to the airport and get them on a plane without them getting fresh on us," Cisco explained, "Technically, we need somebody with a Class A commercial driver's license to drive this, though."
"I can drive it," Lisa spoke up. Everyone looked at her surprised and she just shrugged, "What? I have a Class A CDL."
"You do?" Caitlin questioned.
"We can't all be doctors." She smirked making the bio-engineer frown.
"All right, well, let's do this," Barry stated, "Plane's gonna be here in two hours."
So they got to work. Spencer and Caitlin sent a knock out gas into all of the cells in the pipeline, successfully making them all unconscious. Barry flashed them into the truck as Lisa climbed into the front seat. Cisco checked to make sure his plan to keep the metas at bay was working before climbing in to the truck himself. Spencer and Caitlin were seated in the brunette's car, Joe in his own, while Snart was on his own motorcycle. Barry took off first, to make sure the roads were clear before they all followed suit. The caravan continued until they all arrived at the abandoned airfield's garage.
"Ferris Air? I thought this place got shut down," Snart commented as they gathered together.
"It did," Barry nodded, "One of their test pilots disappeared."
"So what's the plan?" Joe questioned, "I want to get this over with."
"It should be here any minute," Barry let out a deep breath, before turning to the detective, "Look, Joe, I know you don't agree with this..."
"Save it, Barr," He shook his head, "I just want to get it done."
"Your A.R.G.U.S. friends aren't very prompt," Snart frowned, "Maybe that's why they've never been able to catch me."
Barry just shook his head.
"Look, there it is," Caitlin spoke up, pointing at the sky. They all looked up to see a plane heading right toward them.
"Guys, we have a problem," Cisco called out as he jumped out of the truck and ran towards them with his tablet, "The damper's fluctuating. The rig's losing power. I don't know why."
Barry's eyes widened frantically, "Wait, can you do something?"
"I'm trying," Cisco breathed out, Spencer and Caitlin moving to look at the tablet over his shoulder.
The blonde looked up when she saw a flash of lightning in the sky, "Oh, God."
"Mardon," Joe stated, voicing their fears.
Suddenly, the bolt of electricity hit the plane causing it catch fire and crash land in the field ahead of them. They all watched helplessly as the bursts of fire continued to admit from the plane. Then, a crash was heard from the truck, the back doors bursting open.
"Trip's canceled!" Mardon shouted as he and the other metas stood on the edge of the truck.
"Take your last breath," Kyle Nimbus bitterly spoke before shifting into his gaseous state.
Everyone jumped for cover, Joe firing bullets in the metas direction as they jumped from the truck. Spencer, Caitlin and Cisco ducked behind their car to avoid any confrontation. Soon, the detective was ducking beside them to reload his gun before shooting again. Barry was trying to stop any metas that he could best control. Spencer felt a shift from beside her as she watched Caitlin cautiously peek above the car.
