Saving the Broken (Connor x Deviant!Reader)

You walked out of the locker room. Your shirt was clean and you felt better. You spotted Connor waiting for you. You smiled at him. He smiled back.

"Your friend Oreon seems like he is very close to you." He said. You nodded.

"Yeah. He's my best friend. He wants to be a surgeon, but it's complicated for him right now, so he looks after the house while the rest of the group is at work." You explained. Connor nodded. 

"(Y/n), may I ask you a question?" 

"Sure." You replied.

"May I come to your house tonight? I would like to meet your friends." He said. You smiled.

"Sure! I'll let them know! You can come at around 7:00 okay?" You said. He nodded.

"Okay." Suddenly, you were called into Fowler's office. You headed into his office, hoping you weren't in trouble for anything.

"(Y/n), I understand that Gavin gave you some trouble just now." He said. You nodded. He sighed.

"I'm sorry about that. If you like you can take the day off so you can find something to replace the shirt he ruined. I'm sure Hank and his android can handle themselves today." He said. You smiled.

"Thank you, Sir." You said. He gave you a smile and a nod and you left. You told Connor what he had said and Connor said that him and Hank would be fine. You said goodbye to him and headed out. 

You went shopping by yourself. You got some new outfits and you found something cute to wear for tonight. You wondered what Connor would think of it. You checked out and headed home. You were excited for Connor to come over. It was going to be interesting. You hoped that everyone would like him. I guess we'll find out.

Jaden's POV

I was with Daren. We walked along together and I enjoyed spending time with him. We stopped at a place to eat and we both sat down together. Daren and I talked while we waited for somebody to come over and serve us. 

"This is really a pleasure for me, Jaden. I thought you were going to say no." He said. I chuckled.

"I thought it would be dumb to pass up a guy like yourself." I replied. He blushed and smiled.

"You know...I really like you a lot." He said. I tried not to blush.

"I like you too, Daren." I admitted. He smiled. I chuckled at his excitement.

"You do?" He asked. I nodded. He looked so happy. I was glad to find somebody, but now I had a problem. How was I supposed to tell him that I wasn't human? I was nervous about that which is why I had almost said no to coming with him. I just couldn't say no because I cared about him so much. I didn't know what I was going to do. I hoped that when I told him he'd accept me. I had a feeling he wouldn't. I didn't know what his standing on androids were. 

Soon a waiter came over to us. He asked us what we wanted for drinks. I just said water. He got water too. I knew I'd have to tell him because I didn't want to make him pay for extra food that I wasn't going to eat. I sighed.

"Daren?" 

"Yeah?" He asked.

"Listen, I...I have to confess something." I said. 

"What? That you're an android?" He said. I was shocked.

"You knew?" I asked.

"Of course I knew. I saw the signs. You never get tired, hungry, and...your perfect in every possible way. I assumed you were an android." He said. I was stunned.

"You...would love an android?" I asked. He smiled.

"I've been in love with you ever since I found out what you were. I admire how brave you are to put yourself out in the open. You're special and nobody can change my mind on that. I'm with you guys all they way." He said. I was touched.

"Daren...you're the best." I said. He chuckled.

"No, I'm not. I just found the person I wanted to be with." He said. I felt so much better. He loved me because I was who I was. I loved him so much. I had finally found my person.

Your POV

*Later at 6:57 p.m.*

You were in a cute outfit and you all were chatting together. You eagerly waited for Connor to arrive. Everyone was super excited. You were having a deck party and Jaden had invited Daren over too so there would be a few more guys around. You were very happy for her. All of you were. She had found her perfect match. 

"So, you said Connor is very neat, right (Y/n)?" Jaden asked.

"Yep. He's on the more calm and collected side, but he's also curious in a way. He likes to asks questions, I'll give you that much." You chuckled. Then, the doorbell rang. You smiled. "I bet that's him." You said. You got up and answered the door. Sure enough, it was Connor. 

"Hello (Y/n)." He greeted.

"Hey Connor! Come on in!" You invited. He walked inside and you led him to the living room where you all were waiting. He looked over everyone that was there. "Everyone, this is Connor!" You said. They all greeted him. Everyone except Oreon that is. You wondered why Oreon seemed less talkative. You pushed it aside. You all went outside and hung out for hours. Connor wasn't very talkative, but he was a great listener and he added his opinion in when he liked. Suddenly Roxy ran inside to get something. She brought out her guitar and you were excited.

Connor seemed interested as well. Roxy asked if anybody had a song for her to play. You didn't know many songs, so you let the others vote for it. She eventually got one and she began to play it. You listened to her music for awhile and then it was time for Daren to leave. 

You all said goodbye to him as he headed out. Connor said that he should probably leave and let you rest for awhile. You told him that he could stay if he liked, but he insisted that he let you all rest. There was no reason for him to stay. You gave in and said goodbye to him. You gave him a hug and he hugged back after a moment. Connor left and everyone went to bed. You smiled as you fell asleep. I..I don't know why, but...I think...I like him more than just a friend.

Oreon's POV

She fell asleep, but I got up and I went to the work room downstairs. I silently powered on the computer and began to search up everything I could on this Connor guy. I found news reports of a new android deviant hunter. I was stunned. I glared at the screen. I knew it. He's dangerous. He's after her. He's after all of us. I can't let him turn us in. I have to do something, but what? I thought about what I could possibly do. I got an idea. Now all I have to do is get the location of Jericho. I heard Michel talk about that place. It's safe and no human has found it. It'll be a safe place to go afterwards. I can only hope it's not too late to get to safety. I'll have to take that chance.
