Connor's POV
It took 9 hours to fix me. Collin said we still had 17 hours but they may have tried to speed up the progress of whatever 'weapon' they were making so it was best to move out as soon as we could. I was so worried. I hoped we could do this. Markus said we'd be heading to Cyberlife in an hour. I prayed we'd get there in time.
I was with Galaxy and Bandit. Even the pets were helping us stop Cyberlife forever. I hoped nothing would happen to Bandit and Galaxy and any of their friends. I knew not everyone would make it out of this, and that scared me a lot. All I could do was hope.
"Connor." I turned, seeing Collin there. "You'd best get ready. The pets will be fine." He assured. I sighed and stood up.
"Collin, what if we're already too late?" I asked. He looked unsure.
"I suppose all we can do is try to help. I know that (Y/n) is stronger than she looks. I'm sure she'll be alright." He said with a tiny smile, trying to make me feel better.
"I hope you're right." I told him.
"I usually am. It will be fine. I can assure you that no android goes down easy. And since (Y/n) is no android, she should be even stronger." He said. I smiled a little.
"Thanks, Collin." I replied.
"Of course, Connor." He said and we both left with the wolves following us. "Do you suppose I should obtain an animal companion?" He asked. I thought about it.
"Heh, what animal would be right for you?" I wondered out loud.
"I like cats." I paused.
"I like dogs." I said. We both looked at each other.
"Cats are superior."
"In your dreams." We said, both grinning at each other.
"This. Means. War." Collin said.
"You're on, hairball." I replied. We both chuckled.
"I like dogs as well, but I think a cat would suit me better." He said. I nodded.
"Yes. Cats are cute, but I think dogs are more loyal and they're adorable too." Collin nodded.
"I suppose we are each allowed to have our own opinion." He said.
"Agreed." I replied. We both soon met up with Hank. Kamski wasn't coming along with his androids, but they would keep watch on New Jericho while we were all away. Kamski was neutral before, but once we explained he agreed that Alisandra was going too far. We'd won peacefully and we'd won fairly, so he had agreed that we had earned it.
I had changed my clothes back into what I had on before I'd had to go to Cyberlife. I looked at the bracelet again. I felt determined. I'm going to save you. Hang on just a little longer, (Y/n). I'm coming. Everything's gonna be fine. I said, knowing she couldn't hear me, but hoping that somehow she would know that I was going to help her.
We were almost ready. I was impatient. I wanted to just go running, but we did have some sort of a plan. Markus was going to run over it with everyone one last time to make sure everyone understood.
I had to talk to Hank. He was risking his life for (Y/n) and...that made me really scared. I didn't want to lose Hank. He had become like a father to me. No, has was a father to me. I wouldn't know what to do if I lost him. I just had to talk to him.
I looked around, leaving Collin's side to find him. I tried to spot him, but so many androids made it difficult. I scanned the area, and I found him. He was petting Sumo. I knew Sumo couldn't come. Hank wasn't going to risk his life too. I hurried over to them.
"Hank." He looked up.
"Connor, you should be with the others." Hank said.
"I had to talk to you." I said. Hank sighed.
"Listen, Connor, I'm still going to help save (Y/n) whether you want me to or not-" I cut him off with a strong hug.
"Please be careful...Dad." I said. He was stunned, but he hugged back.
"I'll try, son." He replied. We hugged for a long time. Then, Lilith, another one of Kamski's androids, came over.
"Kamski said for me to watch Sumo while all of you are away." She explained. Hank nodded and tried to give, but he whined and padded over to me, pawing my pant leg sadly. I pet him.
"Don't worry, Sumo. We'll be back. Promise." I said. He barked, satisfied, and went with Lilith.
"You ready for this, Connor?" Hank asked. I sighed.
"As ready as I can be." I replied. Hank nodded.
"Goodluck, son." He said with a smile. I smiled back.
"Thanks, Dad." I replied and I hurried off to join the others. Markus, North, Simon, Josh, and Collin were all waiting for me to join them. Collin was going to speak first to explain the situation to everyone. Then Markus was going to go through the plan. He'd split everyone up into teams with their according leading androids. I would be leading a team filled with my friends. They were going to guard my way up until I was in. From there, it was all up to me.
"Attention everyone!" Markus called. I listened as Markus began speaking. "Our friend is in trouble. She is said to be an important piece of how Cyberlife plans to destroy us, but this is against her own will. As all of you have probably heard, that android is (Y/n). Now I know many of you don't trust her, but an android recently joined our ranks and he has most of the information we need to end this once and for all. Collin will give you the details now." Markus said. Collin nodded to him and began to explain.
"(Y/n) isn't an android. She's a cyborg. The woman that runs Cyberlife needs for some sort of weapon, but that information was highly classified. Not even I knew about it. The weapon is meant to wipe out all deviants and prevent all androids from deviating ever again. Richard Finberg is the man working for her. He's one of the highest scientists in the world and I have no doubt that whatever he's created is going to end this, permanently." Many androids started talking among themselves about it. "The deadline for the weapons is 16 and a half hours from now. They may have sped up to process knowing that we're coming. My prediction is it will be ready in an hour and a half at least." Collin said.
"Our job is to get us and out with (Y/n) before that hour is up!" Markus said. "We are going to end this. In an hour, we will either be alive or dead, but that's a risk each of us has to take if we want to keep our freedom! Are you all with me?" Markus called.
"YES!!" They called.
"Are you with me!?"
"WE'RE WITH YOU!!"
"Then listen up! Each of you will be going with their according group leader and following the plan for that group. Simon, Collin, North, Josh, and myself will be leading our own groups to attack strategically! Connor will be leading a small already selected group to protect his way to (Y/n) for as long as they can! There is around 140 of us! The numbers are above what Cyberlife has, but it depends on you whether or not that counts! We will be dividing that number by five! You may choose where you think you are best suited according to who leads what part of the operation. If there are too many with what you want, go to the next! I hope that's clear!" Markus said. I heard muffled shouts of agreement and I saw a lot of nodding. "Alright! Listen close to who's doing what! After that, we'll split up and head out! We don't have much time left!"
