You were excited for tonight. Oreon was about to head out with the others, but they had all decided to stop by for a little bit. You were enjoying their company for the time being. Connor was outside checking on the wolves.
"So, you're sure the dress is gonna knock him out, Claira?" Dell said.
"Absolutely!" She said.
"Then we might need Oreon back her with defibrillators pretty quick." He joked. Everyone laughed together at his joke.
"Nah, I wouldn't give him something that powerful! He'd end up electrocuting Connor!" Jacob said. Everyone laughed again, but the more you thought about it, the more you realized Oreon might not be so opposed to that idea. You shook it off. No. No, he wouldn't do that. You assured yourself. Even if they didn't get along, you knew that Oreon would never go that far.
"For the record, I would never do that." He said. See? Case closed. You told yourself.
"Are you excited, (Y/n)?" Nelly asked.
"Yeah. This will be our first actual date. I hope it goes well." You said.
"It will. Just don't stress over everything being perfect." Jaden said.
"Yeah, that's Connor's job." Jax joked. You all laughed again as Connor came back inside.
"Did I miss anything?" He asked.
"Yeah, Jax's joke about you being paranoid." Jacob said. Everyone chuckled again and Connor looked confused.
"S-should I be paranoid?" He asked. You hugged him.
"No, they're just joking. It'll be fine, Con." You told him.
"Yeah, as long as you don't have two left feet." Dell said.
"I do not understand." Connor said.
"Nevermind. It's nothing. You have no reason to be worried. These three are just being idiots." Claira said.
"Hey!" Jax said.
"Calm down! You're really good at it!" She said with a grin.
"Thank you-...wait...DANG IT, CLAIRA!" Jacob yelled. She chuckled and the girls all laughed their heads off.
"Well, we better get going! Come, everyone. Let's allow them to do their own things." Zora said.
"Yeah, let's go, guys." Roxy said.
"Have fun you two!" Nelly said.
"Dang, I wanted to record it." Jacob said.
"Get moving!" Claira growled at him, practically shoving him out the door.
"Bye guys!" You said.
"Bye!" They all called. Oreon glanced back at you both, but he said nothing and kept walking. You frowned for a moment, but Connor brought you out of it.
"How about you go get ready. I'll take care of everything else." He said. You smiled and nodded.
"Okay. I'll be down in a little bit!" You said and hurried off upstairs. You grabbed the dress and hurried to one of the bathrooms, locking the door. You changed into the dress and you did your hair and your make-up. You checked over yourself, making sure everything was properly fitted and applied. You smiled. You heard a knock on the door.
"Are you almost ready, (Y/n)?" You smiled at his eagerness to see you.
"Just a minute! I'll be down shortly, Connor!" You called, deciding to tease him a bit.
"Okay." He replied and you heard him head downstairs. You chuckled. You looked over yourself one last time. You quickly put on a small amount of lip gloss and then you headed downstairs. You noticed that the lighting was different. You grew curious as to what he had done. You turned the corner and you saw that the living room was glowing with candles and rose petals were on the floor. You were stunned. Connor hadn't noticed you in the hallway yet. You smiled and walked out. He heard your footsteps and looked over. He stared in awe at you.

"Do you like it?" You asked, blushing shyly. He was at a loss for words.
"Y-you look...beautiful." He stuttered finally. You blushed a bit more and giggled. You looked around, taking in the scenery.
"Oh, Connor. It's amazing. You really did this all for me?" You asked. He smiled, taking your hand.
"I would do anything for you." He replied. You smiled. You looked over his outfit. He was wearing a tux and he looked rather handsome in it. You smiled.
"You look great, Connor." You said. He blushed a bit.
"Not as great as you, I'm sure." He said. You rolled your eyes.
"Yeah, yeah." You said. He chuckled.
"I'm only telling you the truth." He replied. You smiled. Then, his LED went yellow as he turned on some music. "Care to dance?" You smiled, taking one hand and resting your free hand on his shoulder.
"I would love to." You replied. You both began to dance to the music and you felt overjoyed. You never thought you would have the chance to meet someone, but you did. You never thought you'd ever be free, but now you were. You never thought anyone would want to hold you in their arm, asking for another kiss and then another, but someone was.
You both danced together for a long time, enjoying the soft music and the romantic mood. You sighed happily once the song was over, resting your head on his chest.
"Connor, this is more than I could've ever asked for. Thank you." You said. He smiled.
"I could say the same to you, angel." He replied. You pulled back a bit.
"Angel?" You asked.
"I thought it suited you." He replied with a smile. You smiled back and kissed him for a short moment.
"You're amazing, Connor." You said. He smiled.
"I'm glad you think so." He said. You chuckled.
"Come on, let's relax." You said. You both sat down, but Connor went to get something. You watched as he grabbed two things from the fridge.
"Connor? What did you make?" You asked.
"I made (f/d) for us. I hope you like it." He said. You took it and took a sip. You instantly melted at the taste.
"Mmm~ These are amazing!" You said.
"You really like it?" He asked.
"Connor," You began setting the glass down. "I would love any gift for you. You've done so much for me tonight. I wish I could do something for you." You said. He kissed your forehead.
"You don't have to do anything for me. I'm just glad that you're happy with all of this." He said. You smiled. You kissed him and then you both proceeded to watch (f/m). You enjoyed it for a while until you noticed that Connor looked distracted.
