Saving the Broken (Connor x Deviant!Reader)

You walked down the stairs and you were stunned to see Connor had been hiding nicer clothes under the ones hed previously had on. He looked nice and fairly neat as always whenever he was going places. You liked that about him. He truly was unique. 

No matter what logic or Cyberlife factories said, there was nobody like your Connor. Not in a million years could anyone replicate him again perfectly. It was a trait that only made him more human-like to you. Humans couldn't be replicated in personality perfectly by anything. He wasn't a lifeless machine and he never would be. He was alive and knowing that he wanted to share all of his own joy and love with you only made you feel the same way.

You walked over to him and you giggled as you saw a light blush on his face. You smiled, noting how adorable he looked. I can't get enough of him. You thought with no shame whatsoever. 

"I see you had plans after all." You said with a grin.

"I suppose I may or may not have had some ideas for tonight." He replied. You took his hand and gladly let him pull you into his embrace.

"Why didn't you just tell me?" You asked. You weren't mad, just curious why he wanted it to be a surprise.

"I wanted it to be special. While I am usually for planned events so things don't go wrong, I thought I could make an exception." He said.

"You do realize that this was planned in a way." You said.

"Yes, but you had no idea. That's where it was not planned." He pointed out.

"I can't argue with you there." You said with a smile. He smiled back and gave you a kiss. You both held each other close for a few short moments before he broke away.

"May I show you my main surprise?" He asked.

"Main surprise? There's more?" You asked, eager to see what he had done. He chuckled and nodded.

"Follow me. Close your eyes, okay?" 

"That's a bit cliche." You said with a grin.

"Please, love?" He asked. You chuckled.

"I'm just joking, Con." You closed your eyes and you felt him gently tug your hand as he led you...outside? It was warmer out back for some reason. You were very curious now and debated on whether or not you should peek, but you kept your eyes closed. You didn't want to upset Connor or ruin the surprise. After all, it was fair of you to do as he said. It was the least you could do for the work he clearly put into whatever he was about to show you. 

Soon you stopped and you could almost picture the smile on Connor's face. You waited for him to allow you to look. After a moment, he finally said,

"Alright. You can look now." You opened your eyes and you were stunned. Lights and beautiful decorations were up everywhere. You were stunned by how amazing it all looked. Connor clearly hadn't done it all by himself. The guys! They all planned this! But...why? Why would Connor ask them to do all this? Your questions were pushed aside for you didn't care all that much about why all of this was happening. You were too happy to ask why. You turned to him was a huge smile on your face.

"You did all this for me?" You asked.

"Of course. I had some help, obviously, but of course I'd do this for you." He said. You smiled and latched onto him with an overjoyed hug. 

"What did I do to ever get someone like you to care so much about me?" You asked. He chuckled.

"You didn't have to do anything. I'm lucky to have someone like you around to just be there for me. I want to give you the same and more in return." You smiled.
