Saving the Broken (Connor x Deviant!Reader)

Oreon's POV

Connor was waking up! Oh my god! I've got to get the others!

"GUYS!!!!" I shouted as loud as I could. Hank, Jax, Zora, and Nelly were the only ones that had heard.

"What's going on-" I was helping Connor sit up because he was kind of dizzy. The others looked stunned, but then smiles were on their faces.

"Connor!" They all said at once. He smiled a little once he registered what was happening. Hank hugged him tightly.

"Damn it, Connor! I told you not to scare me like that!" He shouted.

"S-sorry, Hank." He said. Hank pulled back.

"I'm just glad you're alright, son." Connor smiled. Soon enough everybody was there, welcoming him and telling him the great news about how we'd defeated Cyberlife. While they did that I slipped back to Kamski.

"So who's gonna be the first one to tell him about (Y/n)," I muttered to him.

"No clue," Kamski replied simply.  We didn't have to wait long for that answer.

"Hey, where's (Y/n)?" Connor asked. Everything went dead silent. Hank sighed.

"Connor, you don't remember what happened to both of you, do you?" He asked.

"I just remember us going to Cyberlife. The rest is fuzzy." He explained.

"Connor, when we found both of you, you were both shut down. (Y/n) was pale and you had a hole in your heart." Jaden explained. I looked away as his face fell.

"So...it was on purpose." He said, looking grief-stricken as the memories came back.

"Connor, before you get too upset, there's hope for her!" Jaden said quickly. He looked up, stunned.

"Really!?" He asked.

"It will take a great deal longer than your recovery, but I believe I can revive her," Kamski said. Connor looked relieved, but then he thought about it.

"How long?" He asked. 

"A month or so. Maybe a week more." Kamski replied. Connor looked stunned, but he nodded, knowing there was no changing that. Kamski was human after all. He needed to rest and eat so it would mean a lot more breaks for him, but I had a solution to that. I would talk to Kamski about me and Jaden helping him now. We'd take (Y/n) whenever he was on break, allowing us to work on her almost constantly.

"Okay." He muttered. Nelly hugged him.

"Don't worry, Connor! She'll be up before you know it!" She said. He smiled a little at her.

"Thank you, Nelly." He said.

"If you like, you can stay here until she's recovered. We're planning to move everyone back to the surface level in a day or so." Markus said. Connor looked unsure.

"And my door's always open to ya too, Connor," Hank added.

"I don't know yet. I need to think through all of this." He said. We all understood that it was probably a lot for him to take in right away.

"You should probably get some actual rest for a bit," Collin suggested. Connor nodded.

"Yeah, probably." He agreed.

"Would you like me to go with you, Connor?" Collin asked.

"Sure." He replied.

"See you later, Connor!" Roxy said, trying to sound cheerful.
