You all went to the salon together. You got both your fingernails and toenails done first. It was very relaxing and the girls were all paying for yours together. You were flattered and had said they didn't have to, but they all insisted. You relaxed in the chair and a woman happily began to do her work. You smiled and read some things on your phone while she worked on your feet and legs.

After a little bit, you joined in on the conversation with the rest of the girls. For some odd reason, you'd all gotten onto the relationship topic. You listened to the girls as they chatted, patiently waiting for a time where you felt like adding in your own input.

"So, Nelly, when do you think good old Ralphy is gonna ask you to slip on a ring?" Claira asked. Nelly blushed insanely.

"What!? I-I don't know if he's gonna want to marry me!" She said.

"Oh, come on. He's clearly head over heels for you. He's bound to ask you eventually." Claira said.

"I have to agree. He really seems to care about you." Jaden said. Nelly blushed.

"I..um...well...I-I don't know." She said sheepishly.

"What about you, Dagger?" Roxy asked. She looked stunned.

"Me and Vinnie getting married!? Ha! Keep dreaming girls." Dagger said.

"What? You two have been together for like 8 years, right?"

"Well, yeah, but I don't know if he's ever gonna want to actually get married. Yeah, we love being together, but marriage? I don't know how the word sits with him." Dagger said.

"That'll only let her been more surprised when he does ask." You said.

"If he asks me, I think I'll have a heart attack first before answering him."

"Careful! You might give him one no matter what you do!" Zora said. You all laughed. Dagger did too, actually.

"You don't know. That might be my plan~" She said, pretending to be evil. You all chuckled.

"I'm honestly anticipated Daren and you, Jaden." You said.

"M-me and Daren? Uh, well, I don't know. That's kind of complicated. I mean...he's a human and I'm..."

"An android? Come on, Jaden. Enough with that card. He's so gonna ask you. I bet it's gonna be soon~" Claira cooed.

"I'm honestly hoping for it, but I just don't know if it's gonna actually happen." Jaden sighed.

"I guess it's fair to give her that." You said. They all nodded.

"What about you, Hanna? Where are you and Red?"

"Well, I don't know honestly. We've been together a little less than Dagger and Vinnie, but I don't know. Red's a really sweet guy and I would say yes if he asked, I just don't know if he'll ask anytime soon." Hanna said.

"Hmm. I think he will." You said. "I think all of you guys well find somebody and have a life with them." You said.

"Zora nearly there with Jax!" Jaden laughed.

"I suppose he could ask, but it's uncertain as of right now." She said.

"One thing's certain, though." Claira said.

"What's that?" You asked.

"We're all living here because there is no way I'm leaving you girls behind." You all smiled.

"Same here!" Nelly said.

"Works with me!" Jaden agreed.

"Agreed." Zora replied.

"I'm in." You replied.

"Of course you're in! We're all in!" Roxy said.

"And no matter where life takes us, we'll always come back home."  Dagger agreed.

"We'll always come home." You all agreed. You smiled. This is our home. Nothing is going to change that. You thought with a warm smile on your face.

After your toenails were done, you got your nails done. You got a talkative woman to do yours. She was very nice though. You liked her.

"So, you're all together?" She asked.

"Yeah. We're a pretty interesting group, I have to admit." You replied.

"Well, we're happy to give you girls all that you want! So, what brought you all in today?"

"I don't know. They just dragged me along for a girls day out. I'm not complaining though. This really is what I needed today. It's been hard relaxing lately. So much has been going on." You sighed.

"Oh yeah, I've been seeing all of those news reports. They've gotta get some people rattled, am I right?" She said.

"You have no idea." You replied with a sigh. She studied you for a moment.

"Wait...oh! I'm sorry, I should've recognized you! I'm sorry if I brought up a touchy subject." She said. You smiled sympathetically at her.

"It's alright. Honestly, I think I just need to get everything out of my system anyway." You said.

"Which system we talking about here?" She asked, turning your statement into a joke. You chuckled. It was kinda funny now that you thought about it.

"Well, anyway, now you understand why I agreed to come." You said.

"Oh, yeah! Makes total sense why you'd all be looking for a day to yourselves." She agreed. "So, I heard some pretty crazy stories. I don't want to get any of the facts wrong." She said. You chuckled a little.

"Okay. Ask away." You replied.

"They said it was a myjor fight! What happened?"

"Well, honestly I wasn't myself for most of it. I had been reprogrammed for the majority of it. I was also away from the main fight with Connor. I...don't want to talk about that, though." You said. She looked stunned.

"Oh, that must've been awful! I'm sorry that happened, dear." She said.

"It's alright. I...I'm the reason it happened. I should've known that I was going to stir up trouble." You told her. " I shouldn't have been so stupid."

"Oh, now don't go slapping yourself across the face! That'll solve nothing, honey. Believe me." She said. You chuckled.

"Yeah, I know. I just...it's hard not to see it as my fault, you know? I mean...so much has happened and it's because of me. Nobody can really deny that." You said.

"Well, yeah. You might've been the reason why it all started, but individually you aren't the cause of everything that happened, right? Everyone had a part in it. It wasn't just you. It was your choices combined with other peoples choice that led to the final outcome. Sometimes nobody can control what happens. It just happens. I'm sure you can see that, right?" She said. You thought about it.

"I guess you are right about that. Thank you. It's nice to talk to somebody, anybody really, about this." You said. She smiled and nodded.

"Of course, Miss! Now, what would you like? Any patterns or fancy additions? I can draw some neat little things on with the pen! I've been doing it for years!" She said. You hummed. You chose a design you liked and she happily applied it for you. "And you know what, this time additions can be on me!" She whispered.

"Oh, my friends are already paying-"

"Ah, ah, ah! No ifs or buts, missy! You deserve it!" You smiled.

"Thank you." She smiled.

"Of course! It's the least I can do, aside from my job, I mean." You both chuckled.

"Yeah." You agreed. After the nails, you all got your hair done up. You loved every moment there. It had melted all of your stress and worries away. You were sad that Val hadn't come along. You knew the girls had asked her, but she had refused. You pushed the thought away. You did come here to relax. While being concerned for Valentine was important to you, right now the others were right. You needed some time for you and that's exactly what you were getting.
