"Yeah." He muttered and followed after Collin. We all looked at each other, concerned.

"You'd think he'd be happy to see us," Jacob said.

"The love of his life is basically dead right now. How would you react?" Claira pointed out.

"You think he'll be okay?" Nelly asked.

"Hard to say. Everyone handles grief differently." Kamski said.

"You're telling me," Hank replied.

"Should we try to talk to him?" Jaden asked.

"Leave it to Collin. He can handle it. Hank is the only other one that can probably make him feel better." Dell said.

"I'll let Collin take him this time," Hank said.

"He'll be alright. It can't be that hard. All he has to do is wait, right?" Jacob asked.

"As long as he can check on her, he should be fine." Markus agreed. I frowned, knowing how untrue that could be.

Connor's POV

I followed after Collin as the memories kept coming. I felt so weird being back now. I wondered if I had made the right choice coming back. Collin glanced over at me.

"You look upset, Connor. Would you like to talk to me about it?" He asked. I glanced over at him.

"I don't know if I made the right choice," I said.

"Choice?" He questioned.

"When I was shut down, I met somebody. She said I had a choice. A choice of whether I wanted to live or die." I said. He listened, clearly interested. "Obviously you know what I chose, but I couldn't remember what choice had brought me to the border of death. Now that I'm here, I remember, but I feel...empty." I explained.

"That is understandable. You have become uncertain with yourself. You need time to think it through, but you must rest first so that way you can get a better look at your situation later." I nodded.

"Yeah. I guess." I replied.

"She'll be alright, Connor. I'm sure we can revive her. You can still see her whenever you like." He said.

"It's not the same," I muttered.

"But it will be better when she wakes. You just have to be patient. Things will get better, Connor." He told me. I smiled a little.

"Thank you, Collin. I'm appreciative that I have all of you to help me through it. This might take some time to adjust until she is fully functional again." I said. He nodded.

"But, I want to inform you of some good news." He said. I smiled a bit.

"What is it?"

"I have obtained an animal companion!" He said with a smile. I was thrilled.

"Really? Can I meet them?" I asked.

"Of course! I left her in the animal wing. Come, I'll introduce you!" He said. The animals should help me relax. I thought. I gladly went with Collin to the animal wing. Once we got there, he called out for his pet.

"Aurora!" I smiled.

"That's a lovely name," I said.

"It fits her." He said. I saw a tiger run over to us. She spotted and Collin greeted her with a pet on the head and a smile. "Hello, Aurora." She rubbed against him, purring slightly. He chuckled. "Aurora, this is Connor. You know about him, don't you?" He asked. She looked at me and she looked thrilled. She roared, calling for somebody. In seconds I was tackled by Galaxy and Bandit. I laughed as they both bombarded me with welcoming licks and excited barks.

"Okay! Okay! Calm down! I'm alright, you two." I said. They climbed off, but before I could stand, Aurora licked my cheek. The downfall of this was she also licked the entire left side of my face, causing my hair to stick up slightly as well. I looked at Collin, baffled of what to do or say. He chuckled lightly. I fixed my hair as best I could and I gave her a thankful pet on the head. I was glad she had welcomed me so warmly.

Some of the other animals came over to greet me. Soon enough I was dragged in and I was playing a game of hot potato with an old piece of rope. Collin watched, laughing a little as Rebel played and paused the music with us passing the rope. I had no idea what was going on. After I got out I hurried over to Collin.

"Can we go before we start tag and I end up getting tackled again?" I asked. He chuckled. We both said goodbye to everyone and then Collin and I walked to my room. Once we got there I gave him a hug goodbye and he left, going off to talk to Markus about his Cyberlife plans. He'd told me about them on the way back to my room. I thought it was a great idea. I hoped he could do it with little trouble. And by trouble, I mean trouble with the government. They could be...unpredictable at times.

I pushed it aside for the time being. I began to get ready to sleep for a while. I changed into something more comfortable. I walked over to the bed and I laid down. I laid on my side and I felt my heart starting aching again. The bed felt so empty without her beside me. I already missed her. I wanted something to hug and grab onto so I could comfort myself, but I had nothing. I buried my face into the pillow, tears forming in my eyes. This was not going to be anything close to easy. I miss you, (Y/n). I want you to come back sooner. If there's any way you can hear me, please come back. Please choose correctly. I whimpered silently. I close my eyes as the tears soaked into the pillow. I love you. Please come back soon.
