This is what they're insecure about.

MacCready
The truth. He's scared that if he tells anyone about his past, they'll leave his side. Most importantly, he's scared to tell Duncan the truth, but he knows he will whenever Duncan grows up.

Hancock
His personality. He's afraid that he's too loud and too obnoxious. He's secretly worried that everyone in the town hates him and just pretends to be nice until they decide to kill him. Obviously a silly worry.

Nick
The way he's falling apart all the time. Not even physically, but sometimes he'll come home and ask you to just hold him because with the old Nick off his mind, he has space for other things, and those other things aren't always pleasant.

Deacon
He's okay with being a labeled liar, but he's insecure about the package deal that comes with it. He's afraid that you won't know his truths from his lies, and it scares him that you'll never trust him how he trusts you.

X6-88
His eyes. He thinks they're too dark, and that you can't tell his pupil from the actual iris of his eye. The first time he took his sunglasses off, you were a little shocked how handsome he was!

Preston
His smile. He thinks it's too broad, but you adore the way he smiles. It makes his eyes sparkle, especially when he's truly happy.

Sturges
His weight. He's shocked by his weight when you bring home a scale for him and yourself, but you're not. You expected him to weigh that much. He isn't overweight or anything, but with biceps the size of fucking bowling balls, how could he weigh any less? He's worried about it, and you tell him not too. He has a healthy diet, and his work keeps him fit, and you make sure to remind him of that.

Gage
The eye under his eyepatch. Or, well... the area under his eyepatch. It just reminds that him he can't trust anyone but you.

Travis
His stutter. His long legs. His arms. His slender torso. He's insecure about everything until he meets you and you tell him you've liked him for a long time and that he's the only guy to catch your eye in the Commonwealth.

Danse
His bulk. He thinks that he's too large and too muscular, and he's always afraid that he'll hurt small creatures like butterflies. He refuses to touch anything glass.

Maxson
What people expect from him. He's scared his father wouldn't be proud of him, and he's scared that he will end up a disappointment. You told him that it was impossible.

Codsworth
He doesn't look at other people, and feel insecure. While most men would see someone strong, they'd wish they were that strong. Codsworth just looks at them, and is usually impressed, or happy for them. He's only insecure about the fact that he's a push-over.

Butch
His past. The whole topic of his dad makes him shut up like a clam, and he become cold, not talking to anyone but a bottle of beer. He opened up about it after some time, but it's still a thorn in his side.

Gob
His laugh. It's low and gravelly, suited to the radiation that stole his smooth skin. He laughs and cuts it off abruptly. You once asked him why, and he admitted hat he dislikes his laugh. You told him to cut it out because you loved making him laugh, and eventually, he got used to his easygoing laugh.

Charon
His silence. He's afraid that you'll think he doesn't love you because of his silence, but despite your long relationship, he's still afraid that one sentence will make you lost to him forever.

Arcade
His height. He thinks his legs are too long and that he's too clumsy because of it. He thinks his arms are too lanky and that he's a human tree. He most definitely is, but with some coaxing, he learned that his height was something you loved since first setting eyes on him.

Boone
His eye color. He feels like they're so blue that people will think he's blind. Thats why he wears sunglasses.

Raul
He's insecure about his age. Most ghouls don't worry about it, but it seems to bother him more than others. It seems to hold him back for some reason, despite the fact that he's just as capable as anyone else, even if he can pop every bone in his back.

Benny
His ass. He says has more than half the girls in Gomorrah, which made you laugh. He isn't super self-conscious about it, but whenever you slap his ass when he walks by, he blushes and scolds you.

Swank
His jawline. You can't understand why, since it's sharpened to perfection, and absolutely amazing. He doesn't know why either, but you think it's just because it's one of the first things people notice about him (which isn't a bad thing).

Dean
He's self-conscious about his singing voice. He hadn't sang since the bombs dropped, but you coaxed him into it. His voice was a lower, more dull, pitch; but it still sounded outstanding.

Yes Man
His hands. He says they're too big and that if he slaps someone they'll never be seen again. They aren't even the size of his face, but he feels like they belong to an elephant. You kindly reminded them elephants don't have hands. He worried more, and you told him that you liked his long fingers for more reasons than one, then he shut up.

Victor
He's worried about how people see him. He used to be a bulky securitron, and now he's a bulky synth. He thinks that everyone hates him, when nothing could be further from the truth.

Ten of Spades
His stutter. He says that it makes him sound childish, and that people can't depend on him. He pretty much said that no one can depend on a man that can't even speak right. You told him that he should just punch those people in the nose and he laughed and hugged you.

Vulpes
His cheekbones. He thought it was stupid to be self-conscious about, but one time, some girls told you that his cheekbones were too present for him to be straight. You laughed.

Joshua
His past. He's so desperate to show the tribals he's changed, and they know he has, but he still feels like he'll always fall into the same hole of human folly and greed.

Follows-Chalk
His grammar. He feels like you can't understand him, which couldn't be further from the truth. At the same time, some of his tribe members say that speaking your language makes him less of a tribal, which bothers him more than anything. He tends to get bullied about it.

Ulysses
He's ashamed of his past. He's proud of some parts, but there's still bits and snips that he's never told another soul, and he plans to keep it that way.

Dr. O
His intelligence. Ending up with the people he's with now was nothing short of a miracle. They're all smart in different things, and all he does is break machines. He can't even get them to say his name right.

Dr. Klein
His tolerance. He wishes he could be more patient with people, but when Mobius talks to long, his eye starts twitching and his fingers start tapping. He's admitted that he's lashed out because of his impatience, and said that he wasn't proud of some of his rash decisions in those instances.

Dr. Mobius
He's self-conscious about almost everything. He feels like he can't support you, and that you're too good for him, and that you could do better. He's very self-conscious about your relationship, if that makes sense.
