This is how they are when you travel.

MacCready
Before Duncan, he didn't mind it, but with him, he wants his son to grow up with his father around. He's sort of set on settling down. Whatever that means nowadays.

Hancock
He likes it at some points, whenever he craves adventure, but, at the same time, he likes being able to relax at home with a canister of jet.

Nick
Nick doesn't mind. He prefers you being safe, but if you ask him to go somewhere with you, he won't decline.

Deacon
He's a little bitch. It's his job to travel, but he always complains about his feet hurting and how the sun will harm his skin and whatnot.

X6-88
You two don't really travel, you use the molecular relay. He doesn't complain.

Preston
Preston absolutely loves nature, and loves going anywhere with you. You'll be walking through the Glowing Sea and he'll be skipping behind you making flower crowns from glowing mushrooms.

Sturges
Sturges gets anxious because you never know where things could be, and because he doesn't really know how to fight.

Gage
Gage doesn't like it because of his blind spot. He doesn't mind the wear and tear of things, but he doesn't like not knowing what's ahead.

Travis
He hates it. Period. He likes being in a closed in building that he knows for sure is safe.

Danse
Despite his love for the Prydwen, he loves getting out and enjoying the fresh air. He's just worried about the fusion core in his power armor running out of battery.

Maxson
He doesn't like it because he's afraid of being assassinated. He prefers to safe on the Prydwen, despite the fact that it's actually more dangerous, seeing as it could crash at any second.

Codsworth
He hates traveling, but would rather do it with you. He'd stay put in one spot for 200 years if he were alone, but if you were with him, he'd travel all over the Commonwealth.

Butch
He loves to travel and explore with you. It's one of your many ways of bonding, and helps him get out all of that extra energy that he built up in the Vault.

Gob
The destination depends. If you have a certain spot to get to, he doesn't mind, but he hates walking around without any clue of where you're headed and when you'll be back.

Charon
Charon likes it. He likes a fire and a tent rather than a bustling city. You two drift, never staying anywhere for longer than a few days.

Arcade
He prefers the coolness of a laboratory, but he also likes getting out and seeing the state of the Mojave, especially the wildlife.

Boone
Boone likes it because theres always the chance of you two stumbling across something that allows him to use his gun. Staying in one place makes his mind wander where he doesn't want it to.

Raul
He just moans and groans about his back and his feet and which specific parts of him are sore. He's a big baby, but you understand.

Benny
He loves to travel with you. You guys will leave the Strip for months at a time and show back up and stay for a while and so on and so forth. No one knows where you go besides the two of you.

Swank
He prefers to stay at the Lucky 38 because he never knows when Benny is gonna disappear, but you two have a little spot not too far away where you go once a year for your anniversary.

Dean
He hates it. He hates it because of the hell that is outside the Madre, mostly because he's been out there before. Plus, why would you want to leave a safe haven?

Yes Man
He likes it. It makes him dumber, though. He'll try to pet Deathclaws, poke Radscorpions, and befriend Vipers and Fiends.

Victor
He likes getting out in the open air, and he doesn't mind walking, but he has his limits. His boots weren't made for hikes, and he doesn't like not being able to see his home on flat land.

Ten of Spades
He doesn't mind as long as you're not alone. He won't travel if it's just you and him after what happened to Betsy. Now he prefers to travel in a group, and refuses to travel any other way.

Vulpes
He doesn't mind it because it gives him an opportunity to scout out any places that might be worth seizing.

Joshua
It depends. At night, he doesnt mind, but during the day, he refuses to go anywhere except his cave. He's usually asleep during the day anyways.

Follows-Chalk
He feels somewhat vulnerable when traveling, but knows that you two are perfectly fine half of the time.

Ulysses
He loves it. He loves walking through the Divide with you by his side, and walking through the memories of his past, and showing it to you.

Dr. O
He likes it, but he wishes it wasn't so tiring. He'd much rather be snuggled up in bed with you than breaking out in a sweat while walking.

Dr. Klein
He hates it. He doesn't know how to defend himself, and hates being outside his lab. He air conditioner is a hooker, and he fell in love with her.

Dr. Mobius
He'll travel if he has too, but he's usually safer indoors. He's clumsy, and would end up tripping off a cliff or something.
