Fallout X Reader Preferences

This is what got them in trouble when they were younger.

MacCready
His mouth and the sass that spewed from it. He was always back talking and casually cursing in front of adults.

Hancock
Smoking. He always did it and his mother would slap the cigarette out of his hand and scold him.

Nick
He was always analyzing people and calling them out on their bullshit. It bugged people and everyone always called him weird for it.

Deacon
He stole stuff a lot. He'd steal clothes or other stupid stuff, but never money. He'd even steal screws just to make things fall apart.

X6-88
He was too serious. People would elbow him and tell him to smile every now and then. He'd glare at them to shut them up.

Preston
He never did anything wrong, but he was always shoved around and bullied for his passion for the Minutemen. He was scolded for not sticking up for himself.

Sturges
He got in trouble for liking mechanics instead of playing sports like baseball or football. He ignored anyone who critiqued him.

Gage
He always got in trouble for getting into fights. He, of course, started them always, but that's besides he point.

Travis
Travis's parents got onto him for not being able to stand up for himself "like a man". It led to him loathing his childhood.

Danse
He was always getting interested in stuff then giving up on it because he was trying to find his "thing". When he finally found out that military  action was his thing, people shut up.

Maxson
He was told he was too serious. He was simply born that way, but it made it difficult for him to make friends.

Codsworth
He let people walk all over him, and adults always scolded him and told him to stick up for himself. He apologized and went on his way.

Butch
He was always doing somethin' bad. Whether it be graffiti or harmless pranks or harmful pranks. Adults hated him, and it was easy to sed why.

Gob
He got in trouble for letting other people do his work. He told them he preferred to think smarter not harder.

Charon
Charon always refused to answer a question and ignored everyone. It led to a bunch of people shouting at him, but he really didn't care.

Arcade
He was told that nursing was a woman's job, and it bothered him. He'd hardly lash out, but it was something that had caused some issues.

Boone
He was always accused of hiding something or having killed someone or another. He was always innocent though.

Raul
He was a pretty good kid all around, but he was the messenger for a lot of bad news, and got the worst reactions to what he said.

Benny
He got in trouble for sleeping around. He was always being shouted at for breaking the heart of one person or another. He could care less.

Swank
He's not a leader, so he never got the worst of anything, but being a right-hand-man, when the boss is mad, it's taken out on him.

Dean
He was always getting in trouble for being to narcissistic. People always told him to love someone other than himself and he scoffed and went back to the mirror because no one could love him as good as himself. 

Yes Man
People accused him of lying when he was telling the truth, and it always made him incredibly upset.

Victor
He got in trouble for "pretending to be a cowboy" he asked what a cowboy was and then was scolded for "playing dumb".

Ten of Spades
He got in trouble for stuttering. Other kids would always shove him around and ask how hard it was to just speak correctly. He said nothing in response.

Vulpes
He was scolded for acting bigger than he was. He would puff his chest and outsmart anyone and everyone, and usually get in trouble for it.

Joshua
He got in trouble once for putting too much faith in his Lord. People were always calling him crazy.

Follows-Chalk
People scolded him for being curious. They said he needed to focus on his given task instead of what lay beyond Zion.

Ulysses
He was called a History Nut and a loony for being so. He knew what happened to the unwise, and never bothered defending himself.

Dr. O
He got in trouble for not trying hard enough. He had a lot of potential, but never bothered exploiting it.

Dr. Klein
Many people hated him for his lack of empathy. He's capable of emotion, he's just so wrapped up in his work all the time, he doesn't have much contact with people.

Dr. Mobius
Adults scolded him for smoking and whatnot, but he was so intelligent, and did amazingly in school, so they never pushed him on it too hard.
