My life was falling apart. I was in debt, working a minimum wage paying job, and refusing to ask for help. I thought everything was over for me.
That is.... until he showed up.
He smiles back at her. "Well, I'm glad you do cuz I got this for you." He holds up the jersey.
She chuckles as she takes the jersey from him. "Thank you. As if I don't have all your jerseys already."
He feigns being offended. "Well, then. I'll just take this." He reaches for the jersey.
She knew he was faking but takes the jersey back anyway. "Hey."
He laughs as he leans back in. "I just think you would look better in this one than the other ones." He puts his hands on her thighs. "Even though you look amazing in everything."
She blushes and smiles at him. "Thank you." She puts her hands on his cheek. "And you look very handsome in your new uniform."
He smiles back at her. "Thank you." They meet for kiss and pull away when they hear a voice.
"Hi!" Lindsey says, walking up to them.
They look over and smile at her. "Hey!" they reply.
Lindsey looks over at Devin. "Looking good, Devin," she says.
Devin adjusts the uniform a little bit. "Thank you," he replies. "But I think Mel would look better in the jersey than me."
Lindsey chuckles as Melanie blushes and rolls her eyes. "Aw, you guys are adorable." The entire organization knew they were gonna last, even Devin's agent.
"Book," Josh calls. "We're ready for you." He goes back to getting the camera settings.
Devin nods. "I'll be right there," he says. He looks at Mel and pecks her lips. "Gimme a sec." He goes to stand in the group shot with Deandre and Chris Paul as they tease him about his moment with Melanie. Lindsey and Melanie chuckle and start their girl talk.
