Dear Alex,
i am having some issues, it seems like my whole world is going to come crashing down any second. My life has been so busy. I am a freshman in high school and everyone is telling me this is when it counts, and people always regret slacking off their freshman year. But this whole thing SCARES ME. I really want to get into this college (it is my dream college) i have been doing everything i can to buff up my college resume. I am on my school softball team and the varsity swim team i am tring out for the volleyball team, i am doing a club that specialises in volunteer work, I am also volunteering at my local Y for the summer. My grades are not that bad i have a 3.5 GPA but my parents are still bugging me to do anything i can for the college and i am just feeling overwhelmed. Please help me.

First take a deep breather! I stressed about the same thing but dang that's a lot of activities 0.0 but yeah u really don't wanna slack off this year because once I did I slacked off the years after. It's no fun and u have to catch up and you just don't want that. I suggest just setting goals for yourself. Once you aim for something and complete it, aim higher. Don't aim too high the first round because see what happens? You get overwhelmed. Take it slow. You still have the rest of high school to be the best of the best. You'll see that everything was worth it when you get into that college. But breathe first then step little by little :)
