The main leads suddenly find themselves on an unknown Planet. They get involved with it without a choice.
Balancing their school life and the planet takes a toll on them. Flipping their lives upside down. Chaos one leading to another. The never-endi...
They were chirping like birds. The background music was loud as they hit the road.
They were so lost in having fun that Saish missed noticing a speedbreaker. They ended up jumping off their seats.
"Saish!" Jesvi exclaimed frustrated. "Slow. I don't want my spinal cord hurt."
"Ok"
"Should I take over the steering? You drove for too long," Mona asked him, a bit concerned.
Hearing her confident statement, they all snapped their heads towards her.
Nishan shook his head as a clear no, "I don't want to die young. I still have a bright future ahead of me. Just pity this poor soul and give up on the idea of driving."
Mona gave him a death glare and flicked his forehead. "I can surely drive better than you," she said, rolling her eyes and huffing. It made her 100 times cuter, though she thought it was all anger.
Saish looked at her from the rearview mirror and tenderly smiled. Just knowing she cared for him was enough to make his heart go wild. Furthermore, her expression was making it hard for him to control his wide smile.
Sunaira, unbothered by all this, was scrolling through her phone when she found the most awaited thing happening there, "Peeps, look at the group. It's going crazy about when to hold the Investiture ceremony. They are asking for suggestions."
For that, she received a sharp and swift "What?" from Jesvi. "How come our phones are so quiet? Aren't they supposed to be dying for attention now?"
It was the last second their phones remained silent. They started buzzing like there was no tomorrow. 🥲
They all quickly picked up their phones and answered, after giving a completely done look to Jesvi. Saish parked the jeep in the sidetrack. It was a conference call held by their principal.
The discussions and negotiations went on for about an hour giving a conclusion that it would be held on the second day after the reopening of their school. Four days from now.
Everything was fine except the fact that this meeting killed their precious time on the trip. They couldn't even ignore the call as they were the main characters of the event. All of them had a badge to receive on that day.
In all this mess, they didn't realise they almost reached their destination. They could see the hilltop from there. The terrain in front was breathtaking. The cool breeze hitting their warm skin gave them goosebumps. The green carpet with scattered blooms of flowers was throwing its beauty all over the place and drawing attention at the very first glimpse.
They didn't want to waste a single second more so they sprinted to the trekking spot.
Mona bounced out and ran toward the prominence, the minute the car stopped. Her messy bun was long gone. Letting her long luscious hair flow with the currents of air.
With each step, her heart raced with double the intensity making her want to go more and more into the deeper circuits of Mother Nature, not being bothered about the time and place
She was just about to release her inner child. But stopped when she heard a voice from afar saying "Careful, you might fall."
She stopped in her tracks and looked back to find Saish walking towards her with her bag in his hand. The wind was embracing him like a sleeve, making his shirt stick to him, giving her a stunning view of his sculpted body.
Mona's eyes were fixed on him. She forgot there exists a thing called blinking in the dictionary.
"The ground is uneven. Let's walk, ok?" Saish said.
She snapped out of her trans and gave a nod being all flustered.
The rest of the gang also reached them and they started the trek.
Time passed and it was already noon. Sun was hitting hard above their heads, making them sweat a whole. So they halted at the edge of a curve, quenched their thirst, and settled down to have some good food. As they kept on filling their tummies. Inertia kicked in. They just lay down there looking at the sky.
In a split second, the whole atmosphere turned dark, sky started thundering. The change was so sudden and unforeseen. It was fine just a minute ago and now it looked like a storm was about to hit them.
Before they could process what was going on, they saw a tornado moving towards them at full speed. Adrenaline rushed through their veins. They left all their stuff and ran towards the bottom. Away from the tornado. 🌪
On the way down, Mona's bracelet got caught in the branches of the bushes. She was trying to undo it, intending not to break it. It was precious to her. It was the first ever present Saish gifted her.
The tornado was advancing, but she wasn't able to unwind herself.
The tornado approached her. She saw that coming closer but couldn't move her body. The effect of shock was high. She got captured in the waves of the wind.
Rest all were busy running to realise she was missing. They covered the whole journey they did for 2 hours in no time. Fight or Flight hormone did a great job there.
Saish, after getting on the jeep, waited for all of them to come, he did a head count. One was missing.
Mona was missing. He panicked. He asked Sunaira if she had seen her. As she was the last to come.
Sunaira shook her head. "I don't know. I really don't" She was on the verge of crying. She was a mess.
Saish got down the jeep shouting "Nishan, drive. Go as far as you can. Don't stop, don't look back. Just drive."
He was about to run, but Nishan held him by his arm, "You crazy? Don't act like a fool. Let's go."
Saish jerked it off harshly and yelled, "I said drive" really wanting them to leave to a safer place. "I will be back with Mona."
He ran uphill. Nishan, not willing to leave him behind, kept shouting his name. "Come back. It's not a joke. Asshole." 😨
But Saish was already out of his mind not able to find Mona. He lost control of his emotions and kept running, shouting out for her. There was no response. Worry creased his brows. He was trembling. Neither knowing what to do nor wanting to accept that they lost her. His brain was making the worst scenarios. He barely managed to shrug those thoughts away and move forward.
"MONA!"....."MONA!"
He saw the disaster getting close to him. Did it matter? No. The only thing that mattered was Mona. He just stood there grim, waiting for his turn to get washed away by the tornado. His eyes carried the pain of the globe.
It trapped him in and vanished.
Vanished? How? ........ What was going on?
