"I did tell you it's not easy. Now, did you get the taste of sourness for the first time in your life?" Nishan grinned, very pleased Saish didn't get into the finals team for Horse riding. 😁

Jesvi closed his mouth while Mona jabbed him straight in the abdomen with her elbow.

"Ouch! Why do all support him? He did not listen to me and got himself failed. It's not my fault," Nishan glared at the girls.

"Stop being a jerk just coz we were right" Jesvi pinned him with a stare. He smugly smiled.

"He deserved it " Nishan blurted out.

Saish sighed "Lily's sick, asshole."

"What?!" three gasps were heard.

Next second, three were far from the campus. Running off to the stables hastily. "We didn't know. We are sorry" They crushed Lily into a tight hug. Lily leaned into them.

"You didn't participate in the final race of the school selections" It wasn't a question, it was a statement to confirm if he was right, Nishan turned to Saish. Slight guilt rushed to him.

Saish just shrugged. "I wanted to try and I did. No regrets" he looked at Lily reassuringly.

"What did you say about him getting a taste of sourness ?" Mona folded her hands and pierced into Nishan's soul.

"Yah" Jesvi backed up.

"Sorry babes and my babe's friend. He is always so into things he does and it scares me. He looks like he would be devasted if he fails. So..." Nishan eyes roamed between the girls. "What are you doing? SAVE ME!"

"I will not," Saish said mockingly.

Mona and Jesvi burst out laughing. 🤣

Keystones shone. Mona and Saish exchanged looks and excused themselves.

"Do you think they are secretly dating? They are acting too secretive nowadays," Nishan whispered into Jesvi's ear.

"Why would they hide it? We all know they are meant to be together one day"

"I don't know. But last time she said she couldn't get much sleep on the same day Saish became a sleep zombie. There is a possibility" Nishan studied the walking away figures, intrigued.

"Don't strain your brain baby. Focus only on me" Jesvi side hugged him. And......he forgot there is a world that exists besides Jesvi.

By the time Mona and Saish appeared, Zoe looked horrified. Rest all of their teammates, who became permanent members after training and further filtration, were surrounding her, waiting for their Saviours.

"Zoe?" Mona walked to her.

"The silent mountain moved. The one where the flying dinosaur lives 🦕 ." Zoe blabbered hurriedly.

"Explain" Saish frowned.

"He went into it when the first Saviours of this planet died. He witnessed their death with his naked eyes. He isolated himself. But just now, we heard noises, and the mountain rocks moved and a few rolled down. It's not a good sign. A grieving animal is dangerous" Zoe took a deep breath before putting forward the summary.

"Did someone get hurt?"

"No"

"Did the dinosaur come out?"

"No"

"Then there is nothing to get worried about. But just in case, a few of you stay stand-by around the mountain cave. Take shifts every 6 hours, let us know if there are more movements immediately" Saish's conversation with Zoe ended with him giving out the orders new recruits should follow.
