'What's going on? Why do I keep seeing that dark, shady place? It's already weird that I see it all the time, now I feel an irresistible urge to go there. I know my brain works crazy, but now it's creeping me out' Mona was fighting the demons in her head.😨

She has been off since the day they returned from the planet after learning about the silent Mountain. It's been a week, and still, it hasn't stopped tormenting her. She didn't even see that place in the first place. It's weird how much of a hold that mere images had on her. She wanted to go there at any cost. She wasn't able to concentrate on other things.

"Focus. She is looking at you. You don't want a duster hitting your head do you?" Jesvi pulled Mona's sleeve.

Mona's eyes widened and she straightened in her seat and slowly lifted her gaze to the board. Avoiding the contact of eyes with her lecturer ready to banish her from the class.

"Clean save babe"

"Did she look away?"

"Yup"

"Puff, I thought today was the day I get thrown out of her class"

"Well, I wish she did. At least we can listen to class in peace," Carrie butted in.

Mona rolled her eyes as Jesvi threw an eraser at her, making it look like an accident. "Oops, sorry my bad."

Mona shook with silent laughter. "She always presses the wrong buttons."

"She doesn't have any buttons, so she has no practice" Jesvi's sass never fails to amuse everyone in the room, much to Mona's delight.

"Suniara has her final competition today. Let's get out of this room as soon as mam is done. We can't miss that for the world. If, if we want to be in a working condition after today," Mona fiddled with her chain.

"She will break our bones and gut our intestines out if we miss" Jesvi confirmed.

As planned, they sneaked out of the classroom before the next lecturer came in, only to find Sunaira nervous as hell, pacing in the room on the verge of fainting.

"Sun, you didn't get here without skills. Just trust yourself, you got this. We trust you" Mona held Sunaira by her shoulder. Trying to calm her.

"What?" Sunaira asked confused.

"You look nervous, too nervous than I have ever seen you" Jesvi says, concern pulling her brows together.

"The hell I am nervous. I want to pee. But it's my turn next, I will be called in two minutes. I am trying to hold it in" 😐

Their expressions were blank, not knowing whether to be happy that she was fine or to laugh at the incredulous situation. At last, the second option won. They laughed till they teared.

"Just go, idiot. You will not stay in the washroom for more than two minutes," Mona put her hand on her mouth, muffling her laugh.

"Even if you stay, we are here. We will talk to Mrs.Pearl," Jesvi added.

"Right. I love you guys. You always come at the right time." She rushed out of the room to attend to the urgent situation.

They waited in the room till she returned. And later went out to take their seats in the audience, where Saish and Nishan are holding seats for them. They both grin as they take their seats, Mona beside Saish and Jesvi beside Nishan.

"Don't you have a practice football match?" Jesvi asked.

"We do. That can wait. We wanted to be there when she wins the prize for us"
