Planet of Extinct

The time around them seemed to slow down. Finding answers in each other's embrace they got lost in one another.

Blue made his entrance along with the wind around him. Causing the leaves to wither and fall in that place. Making the scene more scenic. Cool breeze levitating their hair, leaves showering on them, unceasing eye contact, gleaming yet shocked faces.

"Good, you met. We were intending to introduce you to each other," Green said, breaking the glimmering moment.

Their heads veered to her. Grasping the situation they are in, they undid the position, standing straight. Awkwardness and confusion. They were constantly stealing glances at each other trying to figure out whether they were being delusional or that's the truth.

"Saish, this is Mona", Blue introduced.

"I know," Saish said in a low, barely audible voice.

Green and Blue couldn't hear it. Only Mona could, she snapped her head towards him, piercing his soul with her gaze. Silently asking 2000 questions, whose answers weren't there even with Saish.

"And Mona, this is Saish", Blue continued.

"How is this possible? I thought Saviors would be from different countries or maybe different continents" Mona asked.

"What do you mean? Of course, Yes" Green and Blue answered.

"We are from the same country, same state, same town, to be precise, the same school and have known each other for years now!!" Mona replied, impatient and eager.

"WHAT!???" A series of synchronized shrieks left from Blue and Green. "It can't be?"....." Not possible."

While Saish was still a rock, trying to just accept what was happening. The moment it hit him, his happiness crossed the limit of the exosphere.

He held Mona by her forearm and turned her towards him, locking their eyes. "We are partners, Mona. You are my partner. We are together in this," he said, ecstatic.

After realising and analyzing, Mona then finally understood. Why the hell was she questioning this. It's in her complete favour. She would love to have Saish as her partner. It's all she could ever ask for. But still the question of how is that possible still existed in the corner of her head but got shadowed by the overwhelming contentment. 💗

"Yes," Mona replied. With every passing second the smile on her face grew. A layer of happy tears, shining like a pearl decorated her eyes. Pure happiness, wasn't it?

Saish smiled ear to ear too.

Why wouldn't he, this was his second most favourite moment in life. First being, seeing Mona for the first time in loose hair on their white uniform day.

He was happy he made the choice to accept this Planet's offer. He went through hell every day here. But now that he has her, he can never bring himself to question his decision ever. He would have regretted it, if she had to endure this all alone, by herself.

"Yes! We are..." Mona again repeated jumping twice holding his shoulders. "I thought a random unresponsible weirdo who jumps from one tree to another while leaving thunders here and there would be my partner."

Saish widened his eyes "You saw that?"

"Who didn't?!"

Saish sighed, cursing himself a billion times, and avoided looking at her or in her direction. The weight of his embraressemt.🤣

"Not bad. You have that crackhead side too" Mona giggled. "But it was my first time seeing it though. A notable, history-making moment" She was enjoying and taking the full fun of him being ashamed.
