Planet of Extinct

Four hours. Four hours that's what it took for her to open her eyes.

"S-Saish", she whispered feebly. As though just talking is causing her immense pain.

"Y-ya" Saish's eyes were going wild. It isn't the first time she put herself in danger that could wreak him. But this was the highest. Every time he was worried, but this time, he was angsted, scared to death.

He didn't know how to react. The shock didn't wear off him yet. He clutched onto Mona's hand all this time like it was his lifeline and the only thing that could help him survive. 🥺

"What happened to me?"

"You fainted after you built the barrier," he said, his head facing down like a criminal proved guilty in the face of the court. "Sorry, Purple."

"What barrier?" Mona tilted her head confused.

"The planet's barrier"

"What planet, Saish? What's going on? I feel like I am about to die."

Saish stared at her mindlessly, paralyzed. It can't be. "The Planet of Extinct", he hesitated, tightening his grip on her hand.

Mona puts on an expression like he grew two heads. She didn't answer to the thing she thought ridiculous and just stared at him. Silently demanding answers.

"Mona...The planet of Extinct? Root... Zoe... " fear imprisoned him. "You don't remember?"

"If this is a prank, let me tell you it's sick. I am already not able to feel my limbs and have no energy. I need to know what happened to me. Now!" That's what she said after understood what Saish was doing. At least she thought she understood.

"You don't remember it" Saish mumbled. He leans in to show her the pendant she is wearing. "You don't know this?"

"I-I.....no. It's a pendant? Is that supposed to mean something?" She frowned. "Am I forgetting something, Saish? Did you give it to me?"

Saish heart sank. To the bottoms of the ocean. What in the world was happening?

He abruptly stood up. "Nothing. Take rest, I will be back." He stumbles out of the room. Breathing heavily, panic towering over him.

"S-she doesn't remember. She forgot all about here, all about us here" He says as he leans against Zoe. "What should I do now?"

"All?" Zoe asked shocked.

"All" Saish confirmed.

"I saw people losing consciousness for using excess amount of power but losing memory?! It's the first time," Zoe mentioned trembling, terrified.

"Ya, if you don't consider losing lives a biggy, then sure, losing memory takes the first place", Root glared at Zoe. "You saw worse. So don't lead him to the conclusion that it's something irrevocable. We still have chances as long she is alive and living."

Root and Zoe nudged him to go to the Constitution. It has only rules and possibilities. Not solutions. Saish was reluctant as he appeared in front of it.

The number of times they both stood in front of it with joint hands reeled into his brain. Every time, he placed his hand on hers in straight alignment, and every time, it lit fireworks in his heart.

The void those fond memories created rilled up his insides. The uncertainty of this situation drove him crazy. What should he do if he couldn't bring back her memories?

He placed his shivering hand on the book which instantly responded.

"We have got two days, and before the sun sets on the second day from now, we have to take a leaf kinda symbol from the one locked in the bead red lock up. Once we snatch it and let it go, it will combine with the Heal stone and direct their healing and retrieving capacity to Mona's keystone. It's the only way I found helpful. She will recall things. And also the internal damage that happened to her cause of building the barrier will be healed too, this way" Saish said to Zoe and Root. 🔴
