Planet of Extinct

A giant rabbit, almost the height of six feet, jumped out of the tree, taking her by ambush. All the little and gigantic creatures started sprinting in and out creating whole bedlam due to the electric shock they just got.🙄

Mona was so annoyed by it. The fact that she was already tired and some unwanted things were testing her limits.

She angrily stomped her feet and moved further in the direction the spark came from. Few steps and things got complicated. A mysterious tree was growing non-stop, ceasing the paths. All the openings were closed for her. It all happened in a split second. Not letting her react.

She stood there motionless boxed in the roots of the tremendously growing tree. The only good thing was that the tree wasn't growing in a centripetal manner. She still had room to move. She didn't try to shout for help because she knew her voice wouldn't reach out. She was also confident that Green would find her. Sometime... someday.

Though she was becoming uneasy and panic was taking over her, she stood there patiently. Hopefully.

Saish, on the other hand, was dumbfounded by the lighting he just released. Before he could unclutter his cluttered mind his keystone started blinking. With every passing second the intensity of the light getting emitted increased. Some vague images of a girl standing in a dark room looking at the ceiling flashed in front of him. The image was unclear, he couldn't identify the place or the person. He spun around to find the place he had just seen or, should he say, experienced.

He rotated around his own axis again and again like a pup trying to catch its tail. Baffled.

Green and Blue reached the site of the disaster, the place where Saish was spinning.

"What happened?" Blue held him by his hand and made him face them. The moment his movements suspended, their eyes fell on the keystone. It was blinking like there was no tomorrow.

Green gasped. "I will get going. You deal with this." She rushed out in search of Mona. 😕

Blue asked Saish, " Since when was this stone blinking like this."

"Since a while. Almost at the same time, I saw some weird images. A girl locked in some dark space, but I am not able to find the place" Saish hurried to say. "Are they related to each other?" His voice was thick and unsteady. Sweat dripped down from his forehead.

"The girl in the image is your partner. Time for more theory lectures. Put your ears here" Blue's demeanour was stiff.

"Whenever she is in danger, you will get some signals. Few among them are blinking of the Keystone, images of the situation she is in. Based on these clues you are supposed to help each other. Now calm down, Green is on her way to her " Blue unpuzzled the puzzles.

Catching his breath he asked, " When are we going to meet each other though? You are always just notifying me about having a partner but I never met her."

Blue raised his eyebrows twice "Why the rush? Was she that beautiful that you are smitten and eager to meet her?"😼

Saish had a blank face. "No." 'There is only one girl I am smitten by.'

"Young man, now it's time to talk about the trouble you caused" Blue declared.

"What?" Saish asked not having a clue, completely brainwashed by the incident about his partner.

"What, What?" re-questioned Blue with the same tone as him.

"Trouble. I didn't do anything"

"Didn't you release a whole thunderous spark? It disturbed the whole place. Why did you do that?"
