"I think the strongest creature should be the minister" Mona suggested.
"We need brains not strength"
"What about Gigantopithecus? It must be smart"
"Ok, I guess"
The debate about who should become their minister was taking place on a full scale. They were seated on chairs in the main hall. Thinking hard and deep. 🤔
"No, Saish, wait! I think we should choose the first one who got extinct and occupied this planet," Mona suggested, "It must have seen every change and known more than anyone. If we ever were to know about this planet we should start from the roots. So what say?"
"Makes sense. But I am not sure. The first one to get extinct doesn't actually mean it can guide and correct us well"
"Let's try. If we feel this is not working out let's change"
Saish thought for a while, and he didn't think it was bad of an idea.
"Let's do that, Purple,", he said with a grin. The same grin that can warm hearts and shred them to pieces. It's the grin he never shows much.
Mona melted on the spot. She nodded in tiny.
"So, we should find the one who got extinct first" It was a question but sounded more like a statement.
"Yup," Mona dragged him.
"Where to"
"The garden Mr.Gold"
He had no idea why they were going to the garden, but he had no intention of resisting it. Not when she was showing how much of a control she has on him. He wondered whether she knew that.
With a firm grip around his wrist, he just followed the footsteps that led him. They ended in an open space filled with grass and tiny flowers.
Mona let go of him and ran into the field, her arms spread with the brightest smile. She ended up lying in the grass giggling and smiling. Saish watched it all with a look of being whipped. "Saish! Come on!!" Mona exclaimed.
He chuckled once before walking to her shaking his head. He lay beside her, their shoulders almost touching.
"This feels free" Mona smiled.
"Ya"
"Let's get to work now. That hall felt suffocating"
"Ya"
"Is that the only word you know Saish?"
"No"
Mona sighed🥲. "How to find who got extinct first?"
"Let's go ask Blue"
Mona jerked her head to him, her eyes a little wide. He, too turned to her. That's when the realisation hit him. He shut his eyes tight.
Mona put her hand on his shoulder " It's ok. We got this"
He just nodded, his eyes still closed. An image ran through their heads all of a sudden. They both gasped. "You saw that?" Mona asked.
Saish nodded with a serious face, "Does that mean it is in harm?"
"I have no idea"
Once more images ran in their head. A bare land. It was filled with gases. A small sapling was in the centre. With every image, it grew. It turned from a plant to a huge, gigantic tree. Its roots were popping out of the ground. Its diameter is greater than 50 metres. It looked like a very old tree. 🌳
"Can it b-be?" Mona shuttered. "No way, it can't."
"It is"
"Let's go find it" she sat up straight. Thrilled.
