Chapter-10

Saish was exactly doing that but was failing. The spark he was intending to light died even before it could burn the grass in front. They have been trying to burn a piece of grass for like eternity.

With every passing second, his sweat was increasing. He already let out a whole river flow from him but his power didn't surface. It seemed like an impossible thing.

Blue was irritated. In the morning, he almost burnt down the entire hilly forest. And in just a few hours, he seemed like he was not even capable of turning on the power. It was like it never happened. It's not a normal thing.

'What is going on with him? Argh' Blue was spaced out.

Saish collapsed to the ground. Dead on his feet. Completely exhausted. He was panting heavily.

Blue realised it lately but reacted swiftly. He held Saish before he hit the ground.

"Are you ok?"

"Yes," Saish coughed.

"Sit down" Saying this, Blue led the way to a room filled with chairs arranged in a sequence. Seemed like a court hall of kings from ancient times.

"Thank you"

"Did something happen while you were gone from this planet?"

"Not really"

"Physically challenging?"

"No"

"Then what's gotten into you? Why did you become weak all of a sudden"

No response was there from Saish's side. 'Did I become weak?' Saish questioned himself.

Blue took his hand into his and held it for a while. A sign of bond-🤝 glimmered on their hands. Saish could suddenly feel his body lightning up. His tiredness flooded away. He felt active.

Blue spat blood out of his mouth. It kept flowing as though he received a tight punch on the jaw.

"You're bleeding"

"Oh, it's nothing. I am just getting old."

He let go of Saish's hand. Wiping his blood he asked, "How are you feeling now?"

Saish gave a nod.

"Good" Blue gave a nod of acknowledgement.

"Did you just heal me?" Saish asked.

"You caught that? Not bad. You have good observation skills. I get the ability to heal once in six months. I can heal myself and my partner. If you ask me how I healed you, then the answer will be you are the next Savioir of this planet. You can be an exception."

"Why did you bleed"🩸

"I already told you I am getting old. My body is not able to take the stress anymore"

"I am sorry"

"Are you?"

"Huh?"

"Are you sorry?"

"I certainty am"

"Don't be. Just focus on your training. I will take care of you"

There was a small smile creeping on Saish's lips.

"Yah?" Blue asked.

"I will. If not for me, at least for you," Saish exhaled sharply. "I will train harder. I will not be a disappointment. "

There was a brief moment of peace and solace encroaching on the place, but it soon turned into a terror when the whole floor under them turned to glass. "Wooh! what's this?" Saish asked standing on the chair he was sitting till now.
