He went and made the announcement, about tests, marks and the notice board. Students created a mess. Shouting and saying they were not happy with it. A mini protest happened there. What's the use, though? Everyone knew that was the final, even if they jumped off the cliff. Their principal words are no less than an unwritten, undeniable law.

Everyone dispersed and classes started as usual. Every block was busy. No matter if it was maths, science or commerce block.

The only unusual thing was, Saish showing up every twenty minutes. Sometimes with an energy drink, sometimes with medicines and a thermometer and sometimes just coming to check if she was fine.

"You show up one more time I am throwing you out the window. Is that clear?" Mona spat at the boy, who was looking pale and scared for his life. Saish threw a nervous grin.

"Answer?!"

"O-Ok" he ran from there.

"Mona you are scarring my poor friend. See, how caring he is. He is the ideal boyfriend material 💞," Jesvi said, pitying Saish.

"I don't deny it. He is. But he is coming every 20 minutes and for that, he has to get permission from his lecturer. His excuse will obviously be the washroom. So, as per my knowledge, he already took permission 5 times. At this rate, everyone will think he is suffering from diabetes insipidus," she said in one breath.

Jesvi blinked her eyes. She took a few seconds to process what Mona said in such a short period. Her next action was to smack Mona and shout, " Even then you need not shoo him away like that. There is something called love and smooth-talking, which you evidently don't know. Learn before you lose the gem", she said in swag swinging her hair. She was so done with her friend.

Mona was rubbing her hair at the area she got hit and was about to say something when Saish showed up again. He was peeping from the wall. He said, "Take rest. Don't exhaust yourself. We have work to do," and sprinted from there.

His unintentionally cute act cut the strings of her heart, leaving her in awe. A small smirk-type smile formed on her face. Two seconds into it, she lost it and started smiling widely with a chuckle.

"Ahem," Jesvi fake coughed. Shaking her head in all directions teasing her.

"Stop"

"The girl who was angry a moment ago is a blushing mess now "

"Stopppp" Mona slided from there. Of course, she was a blushing mess.

'What's wrong with him? Why is he opening up so much? Bringing things every 20 minutes was his thing always but saying to take care, that too in front of everyone !? Omg. I will melt if he keeps this up 🫠' Mona was contemplating.

Jesvi came from behind and placed her hands on Mona's shoulder laughing. They were walking to their lab. Suddenly it hit them. We have work to do? What work? They turned to each other almost at the same time.

"You got the same doubt too?" Mona asked.

"Ya. Is he going to take you out on a date?" Jesvi was excited

"Don't be crazy. He knows I have music class today"

"Didn't you attend yesterday?"

"Mam is going on a vacation so she is covering all the classes now"

"What work was he talking about then?" Jesvi frowned.

Mona shrugged her shoulders.

Sunaira appeared like a flash, out of nowhere. "We got the permission" she squealed with delight.
