"Bead red lock. You know what it means right?" Zoe asked him.

"Yes. I will have to free the monster who was locked up in an unbreakable cell by the previous Saviours. As a punishment for his atrocious acts-"

"All the ones locked up in reds are extremely dangerous and fatal. Encounters with them are life-threatening" Root cut him. "So now you will steal his stuff from the demon himself?" Root questioned him, raising a brow, intrigued and annoyed at the same time.

"Am I left with a choice?"

"Than that, you should start training Mona from the beginning like Green and Blue did to you", Root scoffed.

"We don't have that time. And also, once forgotten, a Saviour can never regain her position on this planet completely. We will have to let her go eventually. And I will NOT let that happen even if I have to lay my life for it. The only partner I ever wish to have is Mona. Her and only he," Saish spitfire with every word. "She grew to love this Planet. She would never want to forget anything about this" He added in a low, feeble tone.

Root was mildly impressed. The fact that he is willing to put his life at risk so she can regain her memories and maintain her position was commendable, according to him, though it was sort of foolish.

But men in love always turn silly and idiotic if their woman is involved in the equation.

"Remember this. He was locked into the bead after the Saviours fought against him for fifteen hours. There were two of them, and they still couldn't. You are on your own. You are at a disadvantage of four-folds. So play your battle wisely," Zoe cautioned him.

Saish got the underlying message hidden in the words Zoe picked carefully for him. If you want to win the fight, be wiser than the witch. Orchestrate a working plan before jumping to action. Be witty.

Saish nodded. "Will be back after figuring out something for Mr.Grave." His name was so much like the monster he was- Grave.

Mona was anxious as she walked in the hallways of the campus, hoping to see Saish anywhere.

She was done closing her block. Now she purposely stepped into Math block. Sure she will find him there. She didn't know what was wrong but something was definitely off. Saish looked hurt, it was covered in vulnerability. It was the first time she saw that look on him. And she didn't like it a bit. 😶

"Mona? What are you doing here?" She heard Nishan say.

She spun around to face him. "I am searching for Saish."

"He isn't with you?"

Mona shakes her head. And Nishan frowns. "I didn't see him after you both left for some work. He didn't attend the last two classes."

"No, he wasn't with me" Mona became frantic with worry.

"I will go look for him", Nishan said, sprinting away.

Mona tried calling him, but every time it was left unanswered. She didn't know what to do and what's this all about. Disheartened, she left for her home.

When Nishan found Saish he was running laps in their back school ground with insane speed. Looking at how wet his shirt is, he is been doing this for a while now. Nishan noticed how distraught he was looking. For instance, he thought to let him be and clear his mind, but then there was a massive chance that Saish would go into hypovolemic shock at this rate, so he butted in.

"Mr.Usain Bolt, the wise thing to do now is stop. You don't want to die, do you?"

Saish halted in his tracks, breathing heavily. His hands reached his knees, resting on them as he evens his lung movements.

"Let's go," Saish said walking away.

"Oh, hello. Tell me what's all this about? And also Mona was looking for you. She didn't look good. Did you screw up?"

"Mona came to school?"

Nishan made a disgusted face, " Why wouldn't she? She is not the type of girl who hides and locks herself up if a damn boy hurts her. If you messed up, go talk to her and apologise. Or you did have to have a little chat with my fist. It's itching, you know."

"Stop running your imaginations wild. I didn't mess up. At least not in the way you think I did," Saish sighs.

"Good. She is my little sister. Hurt her and you die"

"Why does everyone support her so much even when she does the nuttiest things?" Saish asked frustrated. He was done with her impulsive and irrational acts. It's high time now, she can't keep raising the bile to his throat. The cause of his death will be a heart attack if this scenario continues.

Once, it's fine. Twice, it's fine too. But thrice? Four times? He can't take more of these. Guilt, anger, helplessness and the unknowns were fighting for victory in his mind and soul. Shattering every last piece of his sanity.

"Bro...did she-" Nishan stopped mid-sentence. "She has the purest heart. No malaise. If she hurt you, go talk to her and hear her out. Give her a chance to explain. I support her as she holds your happiness. If you no longer have her then I no longer have you. I adore her, but the connection between me and her is you." "Damn. Enough of emotions today. Let's go" he cringed after saying.

Saish weakly smiled. "Become a poet. You will do good."

"Shut up. Tell anyone I said those and you...." Nishan threw a deadly glare.

"I need not. Everyone knows about how sentimental and how of a fluff ball you are," Saish says in the most teasing tone he could pick up.

Nishan punched his back, hard.

Saish calmed down a bit. 'Why does my control slip every time she is in danger? I should learn to deal with it calmly. My girl is not going to stop getting into trouble.'

Later that night he went to the top of their dorm's terrace, the restricted space. The space from where he has a clear view of the room where his soul resides. That was the reason in the first place why he goes there. To see her.

He smiled for the first time wholeheartedly that day when he saw her musing with a pencil in close proximity to her lips, her brows dragged together as she focused on something.

He leaned in and rested in forearms on the parapet wall. Taking in how she moved. It wasn't clear, but still, he was satisfied just by a glimpse. If she lets, he can get happy just by looking at her shadow.

'She feels home. A crazy home. But home.' 🏠

Soon she springs to her feet. She starts lifting her T-shirt. Several moments pass before realisation draws. He fiddled in his pocket to catch a hold of his phone.

Two rings passed before she picked up her phone and answered it with the brightest smile.

"Hey"...."Hello?"...." Hello?"

He broke from his daze when her pitch peaked up.

"Close. The. Curtains," he said, tone uneven. 😳

"What?"

"Close the curtains when you are changing. It's quite visible"

"Shoot!" She leapt over the bed reaching for the curtains in a hurry. And closed them in a jiff.

He was still flustered when she said, "Thank you. I didn't spot that."

He nods as if she can see him.

"W-wait how did you know? Are you spying on me, Saish?"

"NO!" He blurted out. "I was on the terrace and you...."
