You laid on your bed, singing along to "Chasing Cars" by Snow Patrol - which you kept on repeat through your speaker. Thankfully, your room was sound proofed, so no one could hear you but you kept the volume low on the speaker anyway. Keeping your hands under your head, you kept your eyes closed and sang along. During your time on Earth, without the brothers, you really took your spare time seriously and looked into the place. Since you would be here forever, pretty much. This was now one of your favourite songs too.

"All that I am, All that I ever was, Is here in your perfect eyes, they're all I can see" You sang by yourself, letting your mind wander. Suddenly, you hear a faint knocking at your door. Shrugging it off, you kept singing. After hearing it again, this time more fiercely, you got up with a huff; whispering the song. You opened the door to a moderately pissed Natasha. You raised an eyebrow, "Here." She walked away, leaving Loki staring at you strangely. Your eyes widened, and you paused. "Oh? Okay," You said, moving to the side so he could come in. "What is that terrible sound?" He asked as you shut the door. "My favourite song, actually," You told him, going to turn it off.

"Song?" You nodded, "It's like those poems you read, but with a catchy tune and they're usually more direct." You heard him hum silently, and say, "Very interesting, Y/N," with a smirk. You chuckled silently with a small grin, "So, what did you do to Romanoff?" "Nothing, I just asked her which Loki she was speaking to. She really didn't like it." He explained to you, with a smug expression plastered all over his face. You laughed, "Poor Romanoff, it was not too bad was it?" "I thought it was great." Rolling your eyes with a smile, you stood leaning against a wall.

It fell silent for a moment, but Loki broke it with a question. "Earlier, you wanted to be alone, but you were with Thor soon after. Why?" He looked to you with almost a completely serious face. "I needed to take my mind off a few thoughts, and he was there," You shrugged. "Why do you ask?" He shook his head, "I thought you had lied to me." "You know I would never do that, Loki." "I know, but I wondered."

"Anyway, last night you were apparently screaming. Was everything good?" You asked, in genuine concern. He moved his shining emerald eyes away from you, and looked down his nose to the ground. "Yes." "Are you trying to lie to me? You yelled for someone to leave you alone, Loki. Something must have happened." "I can assure you that I am alright, Y/N. I was at thought and got side tracked into something that was not fit for me to think of." He explained briefly. Your eyes moved down, feeling as if you had angered him, and only hummed with a nod.

"You have not angered me, but you will if you do not look to me soon." Your eyes shot up to him, to see him standing with his head tilted towards you as he grinned slightly. "You must decide on whether you want me to feel bad or smile, Loki. I can not deal with it our entire lives," You joked. Loki walked over to you, one hand by his side as he held your chin and made you look up to face him; as he looked down, "Maybe I like it this way." "I know you do," You smiled to him.

As he was going to speak, another knock was at your door - this one you could hear clearly since you had no music on. "Oh!" You moved away from his hand and went to open the door. Loki sighed deeply, but you didn't hear it and he stayed in that position until he heard you open the door. "Captain?" "Y/N? Where is Loki?" He asked. "Has he done something wrong?" You asked, eyebrows furrowed. "He's hidden one of my punching bags, and I want it back," He told you, looking over your head to see him. "Hello Captain," Loki said, with a huge grin on his face as you opened the door fully. "Loki? Punching bag, now." Rogers ordered.

Loki held up his hands in surrender, leaning forward slightly, and laughed, "You caught me." Rogers didn't smile. Loki then lead him to his training area, with me behind. He lifted his illusion to reveal that it was in the very corner of the room the whole time. "Ta-da," He laughed again. "Thank you." The Captain said firmly. "You are so very welcomed, Captain," Loki grinned and I took him away before anything lead them into an arguement.
