You sighed out, with a small chuckle, "Homework is done." "You should have asked me to help her, Y/N," Natasha told you, "I know you're busy." You smiled, thanking her as Abigail waved enthusiastically at her. "Hey, Abi," She smiled, walking over. "I think Steve is training, want to go annoy him soon?" She grinned. "Yeah!" Abi giggled, covering her mouth a little. "Make sure you put your books away and come back quickly then!" Natasha told her, making Abigail smile and put her books in her bag and run to put them away.
Taking a seat beside you, she started, "Let us help you, you have enough trying to figure out when you can do missions alone." You smiled, "Maybe, but I signed up for it when she was born." "You have the option, take it, you will always be there for her and she will know that, I'm sure of it; she's 6 now - okay?" You nodded and looked passed her as Abigail ran back. Tugging on Natasha's sleeve, she told her that she was ready and the two left.
Steve jerked away suddenly feeling small hands try to tickle him in the middle of his training. Almost falling, he sat up and stared to Natasha. "How could you?" He muttered, trying to avoid the strangely skilled tickling hands. He rolled away, wailing for mercy not long after which caused her to laugh; stopping. This was his chance. He leapt over to her and tickled her back, "Revenge!"
"Is she around?" Thor whispered, loud enough for you to hear from across the room. "Thor-? No," You smiled, "She's with Natasha and Steve." He walked over, on guard, holding a glass of water, "She keeps trying to pull my beard, why?" "Maybe she thinks you look better without it?" "But- I have always had a beard!" He says, confused. "True..."
"Uncle Thor!" Abi called out, holding Natasha's hand and jumping with huge eyes. He tensed up and drank the water before it could spill. "She's still very loveable, though," He smiled as she pulled Natasha with her, then let go and jumped onto him. He groaned, pretending that she was heavy and stood her on his laps. With a huge smile, he started, "Hello!" "I have something to tell you!" She replied, just as enthusiastic.
"I have a secret," She whispered to him, thinking that you and Natasha couldn't hear her. Whispering back, Thor asked: "What is it?" "You have to promise not to tell anyone!" She told him a little louder. "Promise." "Daddy showed me a trick!" She giggled. "He did?!" Thor gasped. Abigail put a finger to her mouth and shushed him immediately. He apologised, "Can you do it?" She shook her head, "He promised that he would teach me!" She told her uncle happily. "Make sure you show me first!" "I will show mummy first!" Thor pouted, asking why. She stared and shrugged, then giggled.
"So, what are you two talking about?" You asked, smiling. Gasping, covering her mouth, Abigail shook her head. "We were talking about-" Thor started jokingly, causing Abigail to cover his mouth. "It's a secret!" She reminded him. He nodded, "Sorry, sorry."
"Very cute," You raised your eyebrows. "P-ardon me?" Loki asked, looking up to you from across the room. "You teaching Abigail a trick," You smiled to him. "I have no idea what you could possibly be talking about..." He smiled. "Right, it's a secret she told Thor slightly loudly earlier." He chuckled, "Don't worry, you'll find out what it is soon enough, dear."
A/N: Apologies for using "year 3" and not the grade 1/2/3 thing I just don't use it at school and would rather not risk it but it should be easy to change with her age to whatever you use :) I also just want to say that I have some interesting things in store for this story soon so please don't mind these huge time jumps but apologies if it's not something you like!
