Unfiltered // Loki x Reader

"It's been two weeks, and I am still not over it," You smiled, talking to Natasha. She chuckled, sipping her coffee, "Sometimes I wish I could take a break like that with someone."

After moments of chatting, you both fell silent and enjoyed eachothers company. "Oh—" You started, "I, well, need to tell you something..." After leaning over and muttering something to her, she almost choked on her drink. "What?" You nodded. "Let's— shall we— do you want to?" Natasha asked, after a second of struggling with her words. You smiled with your brows furrowed and nodded, "Please..."

A few minutes later, Natasha asked, "Does he know?" "No," You replied, "I didn't know how to say it." Resting her head against the door frame, she hummed, "It's going to be fine, I'm sure he'll be happy with whatever."

"Hey, uh, Loki?" Steve asked, walking after him into the kitchen. Loki turned, "Yes?" "Do you know where Y/N is?" Loki furrowed a brow, "No, why?" "I needed to check if she got those reports." "What reports?" "Oh, you know—"

"Loki?" You called out, looking down at the results, not realising that Steve was there too. Loki turned and his eyebrows rose as did his eyelids, "What happened—?" As you looked up, you saw Steve staring at what was in your hands, startled by his presence, you blinked a few times. "Here..." You muttered, giving it to him.

Steve watched as you passed the test to Loki, his eyes suddenly widening with the results. He looked at you then at Loki; realising what had just happened.

Loki's mouth opened, as if to say something, but no words were coming out. "How—?" He finally spoke, "Last time it was different." "It was too early, she only tested because her period was late," Natasha replied for you, as you stood; worried. "Y—... You should have told me," His voice softened, after being so stiff, and he hugged you, with the test still in his hand; his arms around the top of your shoulders. "I didn't want you to be disappointed or worried," You replied honestly, wrapping your arms around him. "I would never," He rested his head on yours and closed his eyes, "It's not my choice, anyway. What do you want to do?" "Is it too soon to say I want to keep it?" "No," Loki smiled, "We can keep it, if you would like." "I would," You smiled widely and you both let go of eachother.

"I told you it would be fine," Natasha smiled to you. You all then turned to Steve. "Um, This... I'm sorry, I shouldn't have been here right?" He laughed, really awkwardly. "No, it's alright, everyone is bound to find out anyway," You smiled slightly.
