Loki thought of everything that had happened two nights ago. Although he had to make it seem as if it didn't bother him, he thought deeply about how long you could see his feelings through his eyes - and with how much depth. He was sure you knew that he could do the same with your eyes, but he never knew that you could to him. What bothered him more, wasn't that you could, but was that he never saw it.
He was beginning to feel as if he had been a bad friend, or whatever, to you. That night, he felt as if he had seen something new. Yes, he had seen you cry when you were both kids, but he had never seen you cry because of him. You had felt upset, but never cried. Guilt swirled inside him, building up like a storm of different emotions now - even though he kept a straight face.
He thought about all the times you were by his side, then all the times he practically threw you away like a toy. He longed for someone to understand him, be by his side, but he felt dumb to not have seen that you were already there. Closing his eyes, putting a hand to his head, he wondered about how he could make it up to you. He had never felt this way before, but no one's ever done what you have for him before either.
Although he wanted to see you that moment and apologise deeply, he couldn't. That wasn't something that he'd ever done before, and he wasn't prepared to change that much so suddenly either.
As a small grin over took his lips, he remembered that thought you let him see. He wondered whether that was how you actually thought of him, acting a little smug. His hand moved, so his thumb was under his chin and his index finger was over the top. His eyes slowly opened and he focused on a point on the floor, with his eyebrows furrowed. A little more seriously, he wondered what that thought meant.
"Loki!" He heard your voice yell. His ears burnt red, while he looked over; his hand in the same position, as his eyebrows raised. "Yes?" He slowly moved back, seeing you run for him. His eyes widening, he yelled, "What are you doing-?" You jumped onto him, while he was now laying, back down, on the sofa. He held both of your wrists, forcefully, as you pushed down to see what happened on your drunken night.
"Please!" You pleaded. He hummed, then suddenly realising, he smirked. "I am... truely... truely... sorry, but I cannot let you do that, Y/N."
You were, basically, sitting on top of him, hoping that he'd slip up and you could see what you did the other night. Unfortunately, he was stronger than he seemed. Letting out a sigh, you gave up and slumped your shoulders; pouting slightly. "Should you not get off me now?" He asked. "Why?" You wondered. "If someone was to see this-" "Alright!" You hurried off him, cheeks now warm at the thought of someone assuming what was happening.
You cleared your throat, as he sat up, then you sat beside him. "What were you thinking of?" You asked. "Why, do you worry?" He questioned, with a smug glint in his eyes. "I do worry, but this time I was just wondering." He hummed.
You, then, held (with both hands) his shoulder, leaning him towards you and you whispered, "Will you not tell me what happened that night, because of something you did?" Caught of guard, he scoffed, moving back, "Excus-" Before he could finish, you slapped your hand to his forehead and saw everything that happened that night, accidentally going too far and to just now.
You gasped, letting go, blushing lightly. "That..." You couldn't find words to describe how embarrassed you felt. Loki just stared at you, wide eyed slightly, after you had just made him re-live that all. He wanted to apologise deeply, but couldn't. The two of you just stared at eachother, silently. "You went too far." He murmured.
Even though guilt over came you for seeing it, you felt your eyes prick. He really thought all that about you? He was sorry? You frowned hugely as your vision became blurry. As your bottom lip quivered, you swalled hard, choking out: "It's okay." You enveloped him in a lovingly warm hug, burying your head into his shoulder.
As he slowly put his arms back around you, he didn't know how to feel; how to digest what had just happened.
