"We aren't having anymore kids..." You sighed out, a good bunch of hours after giving birth. "That's what you said the last time," Loki winked. You paused for a moment, "No more than 3, that's a promise!" "I'm fine with however many, they're still my kids," Going a little quiet, Loki stared at you. "What? Do I look that bad?" You chuckled lightly.
A long couple seconds past and all he did was blink. You hummed, but half way he gave a huge sigh. "Wow, I am feeling feelings horribly hard right now," He put a hand to his chest and moved his shirt a little. "Ah!" He then laughed awkwardly, "Wow, if you were to tell me this when we were still on Asgard as children and I would have laughed so hard." Quieting down a little, he frowned and took hold of your hand. He held it to his chest and whispered that he loved you so much. Taking a sharp breath in, he told you that he didn't understand why it felt so bad at this moment in time. "I've always loved you so much, and I'm sitting here, a mess, half in tears as if I just confessed my love for you. I can't stop doing that on a daily basis, why is now so different-!?"
"I love you too," You leant over to him and held him close. Loki was one to be secretly very emotional, whether secretly meant inside his mind or behind closed doors while he was alone, he was. It wasn't often he showed it all publicly, though you got the luxury of seeing it the most; after his mother. Even though you did, you'd never seen him have a spill of emotions in-front of this many other people. Other people being the nurses and midwives that had helped deliver your baby. "You're doing well Loki, I'm so proud of you." You spoke small words that you knew were going to mean a lot to him and did for you too.
It was a while before you could hold the baby again, when you did you were able to get a better sight. "Loki-" You eyes moved between your son and your husband, "Oh my-" "He's blue!" His smile reached each ear, even further if it were possible. Loki then took his form too, as you gave him your son to hold. "Abigail is going to be so jealous," He then snickered, blinking away an escaped tear. "I was looking around a few days ago- can we call him Arthur?" He looked to you hopefully. "Of course," You smiled widely, excited about the addition to your family.
She punched the air, just as everyone else's faces were shocked. "He's so cute! I love him! What's his name?" She wondered. "Arthur." "Double A," Her eyes sparkled, "I will be the best big sister ever! If not, I will di-" "-Whoa! Okay, bit extreme darling," You laughed nervously. "Right... if not I will apologise for a hundred years!" "Hey, I'll hold you to that," Loki chuckled.
"I guess you can tell that we forgot about the whole blue thing," Bruce said, rubbing the back of Arthur's hand. "Yeah, but it's no big deal, Arthur's still beautiful." "Do you think you'll change his appearance?" He asked, looking over to Loki. "Yes, but not enough that he will feel lied to. I want him growing up knowing," "-I think we should get the four of them to take one of those family photos, in your natural skin colour!" Tony suggested. Loki blinked silently. You chuckled, nudging him, "It'll be fun." He nodded, with a small smile as Tony took out a camera. Abigail hopped onto Loki's back as he turned back to blue. You turned Arthur towards the camera a little more. "Say no-more-hiding-any-pregnancies- I mean: cheese!" With a laugh the three of you did and the picture was taken.
