The warmth surrounded your face as you brang up your cup of tea to take a sip. A warmth breath out caused you to slump your shoulders and sit back. "This is really good," You told him, almost drowning in the relaxing aroma. "Thank you," He replied, taking another sip of his own.

Your eyes drifted to the corners, so you could secretly look at him. His dark black hair, pale skin. You held the cup near your face, thinking. "What's wrong?" He muttered. Smiling softly, holding the handle tighter, you closed your eyes, "I was just thinking." "About?" You hummed quietly for a moment, "What if Abigail wasn't the only child?"

You heard him cough slightly, making you smile wider. "Another child?" You nodded in response, your lips sitting on the edge of the cup. "Are you sure?" He asked. "It was only a thought, Loki," You smiled, turning to him, "Nothing serious. However, Abigail is 6 and I'm sure that she would love a sibling." He replied with a soft hum. "If it's something that you want to c-" "we want" Loki smiled, "If it's something that you think we should consider, maybe we should."

"But what do you think?" You wondered. "I could have 0 or 1000 children with you and I wouldn't mind, I would love them all, and still love you," He told you, cupping one of your cheeks lovingly. Your heart melted through your ribcage at his words, "Do you think it's the right time?" "Anytime is right, if we're both commited to another," He said, making it sound hopeful.

Just as you were about to reply, you both jolted into straight faces and shock. Yelling could be heard from outside of your room. You both got off of the small sofa and put down your tea. Loki, being closer to the door, opened it and took a look. You both watched Steve and Clint arguing. The shock you both felt was unreal. Almost immediately after that Steve walked away — you assumed the training room — while Clint slammed his door.

You looked over to Loki, who's eyebrows were raised, as your jaw was left slightly hanging. You were used to Tony and Steve, but not Steve and Clint. He sighed softly before speaking, "I wonder what all that was about." "Me too," You muttered in agreement, worried for the two.

"Okay," You agreed. "Don't get yourself hurt," He cupped your cheeks, "He could explode towards anyone." You nodded, "Alright." Kissing you softly, Loki walked away in Steve's direction while you left towards Clint's room.

Taking a breath before you knocked, you tried not to show the extent to which you were worried. No reply. You knocked again. "Clint? Can I come in?" You paused for a second, "It's Y/N." No reply. Just as you were going to knock again, Clint opened the door.

Face red with anger, brows furrowed. He groaned, relaxing his face after rubbing his forehead. "Come in," He sighed; giving in. Giving a little smile, you walked passed him and turned around when you reached the centre of his room. He shut the door and slowly turned around, "What is it?" "I just wanted to check if you were okay..." You looked to the side for a second, "What happened?"

Dragging his hand down his face, he gestured for you to take a seat on his bed. As you did, he sat beside you; not too close. "A disagreement," He told you, "Let's call it that." "About what?" You wondered, noticing their disagreements had never been to this extent; no where near. He took a deep breath, seemingly in thought.

"Choices. Choices that were made. He may be Captain America, but that doesn't mean he's always right," Clint put bluntly. You nodded, with a hum, seeing his point. As much as you wanted to ask what exactly it was about, you wanted to respect their privacy and didn't ask again. "Was it-" You tried to think of the words, "was it a big disagreement?" "Definitely." Worry settled into your heart, what was going to happen now?

"What was all that about?" Loki wondered out loud. "Nothing," Steve replied, trying to keep himself busy. "It was definitely something," He said, showing that he knew that something was up. Steve didn't reply. Walking over and standing beside him, leaving a gap, he asked again, "What was going on?" "Just a small argument." "Small?" Loki question. "Fine, an argument."

"That was about?" He tried carrying it on. "Nothing important." "If it wasn't important why was there such a scene?" Loki dug. Steve took a deep breath, "it was nothing okay? It doesn't matter anyway." "Then apologise to eachother." "What?" "If it really doesn't matter, you both should apologise for all the shouting, since, well of course, it's not a big deal." Steve hesitated for a moment, "What-? No. No, alright? I need to go anyway." Steve walked away quickly and left the building almost immediately.
