You wouldn't think that Loki was one to give forehead kisses while you grew up with him, you were like everyone else. The first time you weren't as shy and awkward about it, but this time you could tell that the two of you were. From what you could see, so far, you assumed that he did it when he was glad - really glad.

All you could think about was last night. You were constantly making yourself uncomfortable but happy. The way you could lean into him, and be surrounded by his warmth...

"Why are you smiling like that?" Stark asked, an eyebrow raised as he walked into the living room; coming back from spending time with Pepper. "Excuse me?" You said, with a little bit of a stutter, while your smile suddenly straightened out. "What's going on? What, did I miss something?" His eyebrows furrowed, as he then looked passed you; leaving everyone else to look at you oddly too.

"And you too, Reindeer games, why do you look all proud and mighty all of a sudden?" He questioned. "Pardon?" Loki suddenly raised his eyebrows, leaning forward slightly, as if he wasn't. He looked back to you, then over to Loki again. "Are you guys... a thing? Is that what I missed?" He pointed his finger to the both of you.

Everyone else in the room had suddenly widened their eyes. "Y/N?" Natasha pushed you to answer. "N-o... it is not like that," You laughed awkwardly, your cheeks going red, as you shyly looked to the ground. Although your heart sparked at what Stark had said, you didn't want them to get the wrong idea. "Loki?" Thor asked. "Y/N and I are not a 'thing'." He answered bluntly, although you could hear the small hint of awkwardness in his voice.

As you both thought of last night, you both started to act more stiffly and awkwardly around everyone and eachother. The others shot strange looks to the both of you occasionally, making you look down and gulp.

He mentally slapped himself as he replayed the night, over and over again. He felt a bit off, and deeply regretted kissing your forehead; thinking it made you uncomfortable in a bad way. He looked over to you, in the corner of his eye, and kept his gaze only on you. As you smiled purely, looking down shyly sometimes, he silently scoffed a small smile. He watched as your eyes made it around the room, at everyone, unaware that you were going to see him too.

Your eyes slowly made their way over to Loki, who shot butterflies into your stomach as you realised he was looking at you, and smiling. You swallowed hard, suddenly looking down shyly. You screamed in shock in your thoughts, regretting looking over to him. Every thought you'd ever had of him came crashing into your thoughts at that moment.

Loki stared straight forward, showing no emotion. Inside, he cried out at his poor choices, recently. He felt embarrassed that you had just caught him looking, wishing that he could sleep then wake when you had forgotten.

You smiled to yourself. Loki was smiling to you while you were looking away and if filled you with so much joy. You couldn't understand why, but assumed it was because you both were finally talking again - somewhat properly.
