Unfiltered // Loki x Reader

Loki stood, hand to his chest, slightly hyperventilating next to you, as you held onto one of his hands, tightly.

"We got here as soon as we could, we tried to finish up quick, is she okay? How's she doing?" Natasha asked, just joing the rest of them with Tony and Clint. "She's still in there, Loki is with her too," Thor replied, his arms were crossed but he then raised a hand to his mouth. Natasha took a deep breath, "Has it been long?" "Quite a while," Bruce replied.

You cried out sobbing, you couldn't even see your baby girl properly from all the tears but the sudden intense wave of care and love you felt, felt inexpressible.

"You can come in now," A doctor smiled widely to them all, and then lead the way to your room. You stayed, crying, for so long, as did Loki. You both shed more tears than you both believed was possible.

***The next day***

You held her close and still felt emotional. It had been just over a day, and you were now able to leave with your daughter, with Loki by your side.

As soon as you were home, everyone smiled and jumped to say hello to the new arrival. "She's beautiful brother, Y/N," Thor said, his voice cracking as he almost lost a fight to tears. And he did. Thor cried, murmuring that his brother had 'finally grown up'.

The cot that was given to you both from Steve stood in your room. You had spent up to hours staring at it, wondering when it would be filled with the cries and laughter of your daughter. And now, finally, it would be.

Moments had passed of everyone getting to see the baby, even Fury had dropped by. "I'm sorry that I'm late, I tried to get here as soon as I finished my work, and then got a fuck ton more," He explained, in a whisper, looking over the cot, "Wow, you can really tell that she's the two of yours. Congratulations." He held out his hand and shook the two of yours with a smile. "To be honest, this wasn't what I was expecting when the idea of all of this," He referred to the surroundings, "Came to mind. I sent by a small gift too, did you get it?" "The toys were wonderful, thank you," You smiled with Loki.
